Good food, great vibes, and the best places to eat in Dubai ...

Over the years, I’ve visited Dubai countless times – sometimes for work, but mostly for pure pleasure. There’s something about this city that always draws me back: the sunshine, the stunning views, and, of course, the food. Between long lunches, dinner shows, and beachside burgers, Dubai has become one of my favourite places to truly unwind.

Here are a few of my go-to restaurants that never disappoint.

1. La Maison Ani

Located in The Dubai Mall, La Maison Ani is one of those places I keep returning to. Whether I’m in the mood for something light or craving my favourite burger and baguette, it’s always a lovely stop after a day spent wandering the city. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed – very Paris-meets-Dubai in the best possible way. Their baguette burger is an absolute must; soft bread, melted Emmental, and that signature sauce I still think about days later. If you’re lucky, grab a terrace table and enjoy the fountain view – it’s one of those simple Dubai pleasures I never get tired of.

2. Adaline

Adaline is my definition of a vibey dinner spot – part Italian restaurant, part evening experience. The décor feels glam without trying too hard, and the live music gives it that perfect weekend-in-Dubai energy. The menu is a love letter to classic Italian cuisine, beautifully executed, with everything from creamy burrata to perfectly cooked truffle pasta. I always recommend coming a bit earlier, enjoying an aperitivo, and letting the evening unfold. It’s one of those dinners that easily turns into a night to remember.

3. Carbone

Carbone is pure New York meets Dubai – and I mean that in the best way. It’s loud, stylish, and full of energy, exactly what you’d expect from a place that’s become world-famous for its vodka pasta. I go there when I’m in the mood for something bold and indulgent – rigatoni, veal parm, and a little bit of attitude. Located in Atlantis The Royal, it’s definitely a dinner spot for when you want to make an evening feel special. Make sure to book ahead – this one’s always buzzing.

4. SAL

There’s no better place for a long, easy lunch than SAL. Whether I’m sitting outside soaking up the sun or enjoying dinner as the sky turns pink, this spot always puts me in the best mood. The setting is calm and elegant, right by the water, and the menu balances fresh Mediterranean flavours with that effortless Dubai luxury. I usually go for grilled sea bass or one of their lighter dishes – perfect for those days when you want to relax but still treat yourself. It’s simple, sunny, and exactly what a Dubai afternoon should feel like.

5. SUSHISAMBA

For incredible sushi with a view that takes your breath away, SUSHISAMBA is unbeatable. Perched on the 51st floor of The Palm Tower, it’s one of those restaurants that make dining in Dubai feel like a true experience. The fusion of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian flavours keeps things exciting – think wagyu gyoza, fresh ceviche, and the best quality sushi in the city. I love coming here for dinner with friends; between the skyline views, the music, and the food, it always ends up being one of those “only in Dubai” nights.

Whether it’s a relaxed lunch by the sea, a dinner show with friends, or a quick coffee between meetings, Dubai always has something special to offer. Each of these places holds a little memory for me — of sunshine, laughter, and those effortless moments that make every visit feel new again. One thing’s certain: in Dubai, every meal is so much more than just food – it’s an experience.
