Some bags reveal their essence from the first moment you carry them – and for me, that’s the Hermès Birkin Cargo 35. I recently brought mine home in the Gris Moyen shade – a deep, elegant green (leaning dark) that feels both classic and unexpected. Despite its size, it’s surprisingly light and easy to carry, making it a dream for daily use.

The highlight is undoubtedly the detachable cup holder, which I find both playful and genuinely useful. You can remove it for a cleaner look or keep it for that touch of character. The pairing of smooth Swift leather and durable canvas creates a beautifully balanced texture that gives the bag structure without heaviness. The craftsmanship, as you’d expect from Hermès, is flawless – every stitch, seam, and edge feels deliberate, and the hardware perfectly complements the muted tones.

What I instantly loved about this bag is how lightweight it feels. For its size and capacity, it’s almost effortless to carry. The canvas body makes it more forgiving and practical for everyday use – it doesn’t scratch easily, and if it gets a little dusty or marked, you can simply wipe it clean.

Inside, it’s roomy enough for everything I carry daily – wallet, phone, planner, makeup pouch, and even a small bottle of water. The external pockets make access easier (which, honestly, feels revolutionary for a Birkin).
