Dewy, rosy and ready for spring!
With spring being (finally) on the horizon, my mind has turned to all things bright and rosy. So by default, my obsession with tracking down the best blush options has gone into overdrive. Right now, I’m focusing on cream blushes – light, moisturising and perfectly buildable, and the key to achieving that year-round natural glow we all want. There are many contenders for my top picks but I’ve managed to narrow it down to a select handful, all giving radiance and dew-inducing finishes that have made them musts in my makeup bag.
From the viral Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Blush Stick to Rare Beauty favourites and luxury options from Chanel, let’s break down the best cream blushes on the market right now, and my thoughts on each find.
Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Blush Stick
A true gem, Westman Atelier’s Baby Cheeks Blush Stick has earned its stellar reputation. Gorgeously pigmented yet subtle enough to give a natural, radiant glow, it’s the ultimate all-rounder, plus the creamy formula is so easy to blend and it actually lasts all day. Packed with skincare ingredients to nourish and protect, plus it gives me an effortless flushed pop of colour and is easy to layer. It’s a little pricey but definitely worthy of the investment in my opinion, especially considering this is a product I consistently use as part of my everyday makeup routine.

Saie Dew Blush
Saie’s liquid-cream formula is the perfect mix of a buildable cream blush with the bright pigment that’s typically associated with liquid options. It’s super lightweight, hydrating and brightening. I like to use sparingly for a natural tint, or build it up for a brighter pop depending on my look. And the applicator makes it so easy to just dab on.

Rare Beauty Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush
If you want a blush that quite literally melts onto your skin in the most moisturising and satisfying way, then the clue is in the name with Rare Beauty’s Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush. The liquid-like cream formula feels weightless on your skin and reveals a pigmented satin finish that’s mess-up-proof (which I love).

Persona Dreamstick Cream Blush
One of my ultimate cream blush options of all time, the Persona Dreamstick Cream Blush comes as a beauty dream in rosy-cheek form. It gives a fresh summer glow no matter the season and is so lightweight which makes for the easiest application. I like to gently dab on my cheeks (and lips too if I’m feeling like I want a matching natural flush). The range of shades is great – there’s more natural-looking warmer tones like Teddy and Bloom that are ideal for my everyday looks, plus fruiter and more vibrant options like Bubble and Kiss when I want something a little bolder.

Chanel Joues Contraste Cream-to-Powder Blush
Now for something super luxe when you owe yourself a treat. Chanel’s Joues Contraste Cream-to-Powder Blush has the vibrant pigment of a powder but with a creamy, velvety texture so you’re able to build it up for a more intense pop of colour. Sage oil and emollients help make the formula super hydrating, too.

Milk Makeup Lip & Cheek Blush
Mango butter along with avocado and apricot oils help make Milk’s Lip & Cheek Blush super nourishing in order to feel incredible on your skin. Easy to build and blend, this option is an easy choice for giving my looks a quick pop of colour. I also love how some shades are given added shimmer for when I’m doing a look that goes a little beyond my everyday makeup.
