There are some colours that immediately transport you somewhere. Turquoise is one of them.

The moment I see it, I think of Greek islands with whitewashed houses, long lunches overlooking the sea, South of France beach clubs, colourful umbrellas, linen shirts thrown over swimwear and the kind of holidays where getting dressed feels just as enjoyable as everything else. It is one of those shades that simply belongs to summer.

It is also one of the biggest colour trends of Summer 2026. Turquoise has been everywhere this season, especially in resort wear, swimwear and holiday collections designed for warm destinations. Pucci embraced it more than almost anyone else, building an entire collection around these bright Mediterranean blues, and it’s easy to see why. The colour feels bold, joyful and impossible to ignore.

I don’t own many turquoise pieces, but every time I wear one, I wonder why I don’t have more. It works beautifully against sun-kissed skin, looks even better with crisp white linen and gold jewellery, and somehow always feels expensive, even in the simplest outfit. Most of my own pieces happen to be from Pucci, including a top and a kaftan that have become permanent additions to my holiday suitcase.

So here are the turquoise pieces that caught my eye this season, together with a few of the outfits where this colour reminded me exactly why it deserves a place in every summer wardrobe.
