The colourful beachwear, silk dresses and matching prints I'll happily wear every single summer
There are certain brands I wear all year round, and then there are the ones that instantly make me think of summer. Pucci has always belonged in that second category.
The moment I see those prints, my brain is already somewhere by the sea. A slow breakfast overlooking the water, an afternoon spent moving between the beach and lunch, getting ready for dinner just as the sun starts setting… somehow Pucci always fits every part of that day.
I also love that the brand almost encourages you to build an entire holiday wardrobe around a single print. It starts innocently enough with a swimsuit, and before you know it you’re looking at the matching pareo, the sheer beach dress, the silk scarf, the trousers, the little bag… and suddenly you’ve convinced yourself that buying just one piece would almost be a waste.
It’s very much a girl math situation, isn’t it?
But honestly… it works. There is something incredibly satisfying about having pieces that were designed to live together. Throw the sheer dress over the matching swimsuit, add the scarf in your hair, swap your sandals for a pair of heels in the evening and suddenly the whole outfit feels intentional without requiring much thought. I love holiday dressing when it feels this effortless.

While I mostly reach for Pucci when I’m by the sea, I almost always end up bringing home at least one silk dress every summer as well. Those are the pieces that somehow survive long after the holiday ends. With a pair of simple mules, minimal jewellery and a little tan, they’re exactly what I want to wear for dinners, summer parties or destination weddings.
I also think that’s why Pucci never really feels trend-driven to me. Yes, the prints are instantly recognisable, but they’re also timeless enough that I find myself reaching for pieces I’ve owned for years alongside the new ones I add every season.
If I had to associate one designer with summer, it would probably be Pucci.
