The shoes might just be my favourite part of the entire collection because every single pair feels like it belongs to a completely different personality.

Let’s start with the black and white slingbacks with the wing detail at the back. They’re such a beautiful interpretation of a classic Chanel shoe, but with just enough of a twist to make them feel special. I love pieces that stay elegant while still having one unexpected detail, and these do exactly that. I can already see myself wearing them with everything from tailoring to denim.

The feather slingbacks are probably the most divisive pair I bought. I know they won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but I absolutely fell in love with them the moment I saw them. They’re playful, dramatic and completely unapologetic, which is probably why I couldn’t decide between the black and the white pair. In the end, I simply accepted that I needed both.

Then there are the apple heel slingbacks, which are probably one of the most unique Chanel shoes I’ve seen in a long time. That tiny apple heel makes them feel whimsical without taking away from how elegant they are. I wore them for an entire day and genuinely couldn’t believe how comfortable they were, which only made me love them more.

And finally, the burgundy slingbacks. The complete opposite of everything above. They’re simple, classic, incredibly chic and exactly the kind of shoe I know I’ll be wearing for years. Sometimes it’s the quietest pieces that end up getting the most wear.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll already know that jackets are probably my biggest weakness. Honestly, if Chanel keeps making them like this, I don’t see that changing anytime soon.

This is exactly why I love Métiers d’Art so much. It’s the little things that completely win me over – the intricate trims, the beautiful buttons, the textures, the fabrics and the amount of craftsmanship that goes into every single detail. They’re the kind of pieces that never really date because they’re not about trends in the first place.

The embellished black jacket instantly caught my attention, the textured black and white jacket feels incredibly elegant, and I couldn’t resist adding another zebra print piece to my wardrobe either. I’ve realised this year that I’ve become slightly obsessed with zebra print, and somehow every new version feels just as exciting as the last.

The blue knit definitely wasn’t my first choice, which probably makes it one of my favourite purchases now. Filippo was actually far more excited about it than I was at first, but the more I looked at it, the more I realised I have absolutely nothing like it in my wardrobe. It’s bold, fun and impossible to ignore, which is exactly why I’ll probably wear it with the simplest possible outfit – blue jeans and a white T-shirt.

The beige zip knit sits at the opposite end of the spectrum. It’s probably the easiest ready-to-wear piece I bought from the collection because I already know exactly how I’ll wear it. With jeans, tailored trousers, layered over my shoulders when travelling… it’s one of those effortless wardrobe staples that somehow makes getting dressed feel easier every single time.

The the dotted pony hair bag  immediately stood out to me because it feels like such a bold piece. I actually first noticed this print on the Chanel 25 bag, but since I’ve never really been drawn to that shape, I waited until I found it on a bag I knew I’d genuinely use. It feels playful, a little unexpected and unlike anything else I currently own.

The the printed pony hair clutch felt impossible to leave behind as well. One thing I loved throughout this entire collection was how much personality came through in the textures and fabrics, even on the smaller accessories. It proves that an evening bag doesn’t have to be covered in embellishments to make an impact.
