The exact skincare and makeup products behind my wedding look
I still can’t quite believe that less than two weeks ago we had our wedding.
It already feels like one of those weekends I’ll be talking about for years, yet at the same time it somehow feels as though it happened yesterday. I keep going back through the photos, watching little videos people have sent me, remembering moments I had already forgotten and slowly taking it all in. Having all of our favourite people in one place for three days was honestly everything I could have wished for and so much more.
One thing I definitely wasn’t expecting, though, was quite how many messages I’d receive about my makeup. I think every other comment has been asking what foundation we used, which lipstick I was wearing or how my skin looked so fresh from the ceremony all the way through to the last dance. Since I found myself replying with the same messages over and over again, I thought it would be much easier to put everything together here instead.
For my wedding, I worked with the incredibly talented Andreea Ali and, after spending months wondering whether I should simply do my own makeup (as I usually do) or book a makeup artist, I can now confidently say it was one of the best decisions I made.
Not only is Andreea unbelievably talented, but she also has the calmest energy, which is exactly what you want around you on a wedding morning. From our very first conversation she completely understood the look I had in mind. I wanted my skin to look like skin, just its very best version. Nothing too heavy, nothing too sculpted, nothing that would feel overly trendy when I look back at our wedding photos in twenty years’ time. Just soft, fresh, timeless makeup that still felt completely like me.
So, with Andreea’s help, here are all of the exact products we used.
Skin Prep
If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll probably know that Sisley has been one of those brands I keep coming back to. Whether it’s skincare, body care or haircare, there are so many products I genuinely love and repurchase, so I wasn’t surprised at all that Andreea reached for Sisley on my wedding morning too.
Beautiful makeup always starts with good skin, and we really focused on creating a hydrated, smooth base before any makeup went on. Here’s everything we used for skin prep:

Makeup Products
For the base, we mixed two shades of the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation, followed by the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in a combination of shades to brighten, conceal and add dimension exactly where it was needed. Any extra correction was done with the NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer before everything was softly set using Huda Beauty’s Easy Bake Loose Powder in Peach Pie and Banana Bread.
To bring warmth back into the skin, Andreea used the mph Beauty Contour Palette together with Hindash’s Color Fluid in Carve for soft sculpting, before finishing the complexion with two of my favourite NARS blush shades, Orgasm and Itsy Bitsy. The final touch was the NARS Light Reflecting Luminizing Powder in Electra, which gave the skin that subtle glow you can see throughout the entire wedding weekend without ever looking too sparkly.
For the eyes, we kept everything exactly how I wanted it: soft, timeless and very wearable. The NARS Laguna Eyeshadow Palette created the gentle definition, while a black gel eyeliner by Hung Vanngo added just enough depth along the lash line. Lashify individual lashes made everything look a little fuller without looking overly dramatic, and the look was completed with mascara together with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Power Duo and Brow Freeze Gel for naturally defined brows.
The lips were probably one of the products you’ve asked me about the most. We lined them with the NARS Precision Lip Liner in Morocco, added the NARS Lipstick in Adulterous and finished everything with the NARS Afterglow Lip Shine in Turkish Delight. It gave exactly the kind of soft, polished nude lip I had imagined for my wedding day.
Finally, everything was locked in place with the ONE/SIZE Waterproof Setting Spray, which definitely did its job. The makeup stayed exactly where it should from getting ready in the morning until the very end of the celebrations.

I truly couldn’t have been happier with how every single look turned out throughout the wedding weekend. The makeup photographed beautifully, lasted all day (and night!) and, most importantly, still felt comfortable and completely like me.
