I absolutely love discovering new brands. Every now and then I’ll find myself going down a rabbit hole, browsing websites I’ve never visited before and saving pieces that immediately catch my eye. It’s something I’ve always genuinely enjoyed.

The funny thing is, some of my favourite brands today are ones I found completely by accident years ago. A random recommendation, an Instagram post, a dress I spotted on someone while travelling… and somehow they’ve stayed with me ever since. They’re the brands I come back to every single summer because I know exactly what I’m going to get: beautiful fabrics, timeless designs and pieces I’ll genuinely wear over and over again.

So I thought I’d share a few of the brands that have earned a permanent place in my summer wardrobe. They’re the ones I always reach for when I’m looking for linen sets, cotton dresses, effortless co-ords and easy holiday pieces that work just as well for everyday life as they do packed into a suitcase.

If your ideal summer wardrobe looks anything like minen – lightweight fabrics, relaxed silhouettes, plenty of linen and cotton, and dresses you’ll wear from breakfast through to dinner – I have a feeling you’ll love these just as much as I do.

If I had to pick one brand that has completely won me over in recent years, it would definitely be Dôen. I absolutely love their pieces, especially the silk and lace combinations, which somehow manage to feel both incredibly elegant and unbelievably comfortable at the same time. I already own a few of their matching sets, some with skirts, others with shorts, and they’re the kind of pieces I always look forward to wearing.

What I love most is how versatile they are. I can wear the skirt with a simple black top and blazer, or style the lace top with jeans or tailored trousers, so it never feels like I’m buying something for just one occasion. If you haven’t discovered Dôen yet, it’s definitely a brand I’d recommend having a look at.

If there is one brand that completely understands summer dressing, it’s Faithfull.

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had a summer without packing at least a few of their pieces. Their cotton and linen collections are exactly what I want to wear when it’s hot: breathable fabrics, beautiful prints, effortless silhouettes and dresses that somehow always look put together without trying too hard. Their linen sets are another favourite of mine because they’re the kind of outfit you can wear for breakfast by the beach, explore a new city in during the day, and simply swap your sandals for heels in the evening.

They’re also surprisingly accessible considering the quality, which is another reason I keep going back year after year. I own quite a few Faithfull pieces already and every new collection somehow convinces me I need just one more.

TOVE has quietly become one of my absolute favourite brands.

Everything they create feels incredibly considered. The cuts are unlike anything else in my wardrobe, the fabrics always feel luxurious, and their colour palette is exactly what I naturally gravitate towards.

I love that their pieces feel modern without chasing trends. They’re elegant, sculptural and minimal, but never boring.

Whenever I wear TOVE, I feel like the clothes do all the work for me. I don’t need much styling because the design itself is already the statement, and I think that’s exactly what great fashion should do.

Aya Muse makes some of my favourite dresses, full stop. They have this incredible way of combining light, semi-sheer fabrics with elegant silhouettes that never feel overdone. The result is a dress that works just as beautifully for dinner on holiday as it does for a special occasion back home.

One of my favourite dresses I’ve ever owned is from Aya Muse – the beige one that ties around the waist. If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ve probably seen me wearing it several times last summer because I genuinely couldn’t stop reaching for it.

For me, that’s always the biggest compliment I can give a piece of clothing. If I wear it once, I probably liked it. If I wear it five times in one season, I absolutely loved it.

DISSH is another brand I’ve been wearing for years.

Whenever I’m looking for simple, timeless summer pieces, it’s one of the first places I check. Their dresses are beautiful, but I also love their matching co-ord sets because they’re so easy to style and always look incredibly polished.

Most of their collections revolve around clean lines, neutral colours and understated silhouettes, which probably explains why they always remind me a little of The Row aesthetic, just at a much more accessible price point.

They’re the kind of pieces you never get tired of because they don’t rely on trends. They simply become part of your wardrobe.

At this point, I feel like everyone already knows how much I love LilySilk.

What originally made me fall in love with the brand were, of course, their silk pieces, but over the years it’s become so much more than that. I wear their dresses, everyday co-ords, knitwear, tailoring and even their activewear.

It’s genuinely one of those brands I wear throughout the entire year, not just during one season. Their summer collections are always particularly beautiful because they combine lightweight fabrics with simple, timeless designs that you’ll still want to wear years from now. I’ve been loving their latest collection, and, unsurprisingly, I’ve already added a few new favourites to my wardrobe.

No summer brand list of mine would feel complete without Missoni.

If there’s one brand that instantly transports me to an Italian beach club somewhere along the coast, it’s this one. Their signature knits, colourful patterns and lightweight fabrics have become synonymous with summer holidays, and I honestly don’t think anyone does beach dressing quite like they do.

I especially love their beach dresses and swimwear. They’re the kind of pieces you throw on over a bikini and somehow look effortlessly glamorous without trying too hard. Slightly sheer, beautifully textured and instantly recognisable, they’re exactly what I imagine when I think of a luxury summer wardrobe. Even one Missoni piece has a way of making an entire holiday suitcase feel complete.

These are the brands I come back to every single summer, and I honestly can’t imagine packing for a holiday without at least a few pieces from each of them. They’ve earned their place in my wardrobe because they consistently create the kind of clothes I genuinely love wearing: beautiful fabrics, timeless silhouettes and pieces that never feel like they belong to just one season.
