The small habits, supplements and routines that genuinely helped me feel better, sleep better and have more stable energy ...
For a long time, I thought wellness meant doing everything perfectly. Sleeping eight hours every night, drinking green juices, never feeling stressed and somehow becoming one of those girls who always wake up energised and organised.
Realistically, that lasted about three days.
What actually changed things for me was much simpler than that. Paying more attention to my sleep, my digestion, my energy levels and being more consistent with supplements instead of trying random things for two weeks and forgetting about them.
I also realised that wellness is not only about how you look. Whenever my sleep is bad, I feel it everywhere. When my digestion feels off, my energy and skin usually follow. And when I’m stressed for long periods of time, my hair is always the first thing that suffers.
These are some of the wellness habits and supplements that genuinely made the biggest difference for me over time.
Gut Health & Digestion
This is probably the area where I noticed the biggest overall difference.
Whenever my digestion feels off, I usually feel it everywhere else too. My energy changes, my skin changes and I just feel more uncomfortable overall. There’s also a strong connection between the gut and the nervous system, which explains why stress affects digestion so quickly. Because of all of this, gut health was actually one of the first areas I wanted to focus on when working on my NOA supplements. It’s something I’ve been researching and developing for over five years because I genuinely realised how much digestion affects overall wellbeing.
One supplement I’ve been really consistent with lately is NOA Slim. I like that the formula focuses not only on overall balance and wellbeing, but also on digestion support overall. It contains ingredients like green tea, ginger and cinnamon, which are commonly associated with digestion support and maintaining more stable energy levels throughout the day. I also love that it includes L-theanine, because stress and digestion are often much more connected than people realise. The formula also contains chromium and zinc, which contribute to normal macronutrient and fatty acid metabolism.
One thing I’ve become much more conscious of over the years is how easy it is to expect instant results from wellness. As a pharmacist, I’ve always believed that consistency matters far more than extremes or quick fixes. Most supplements are designed to support the body gradually over time, which is why I’ve always approached wellness as part of a bigger picture that includes sleep, nutrition, stress management and daily habits overall.
What I personally noticed the most after taking it consistently was feeling more balanced overall and more in tune with my routine day to day.

Better Sleep
Sleep is probably the thing I ignored the most for years. I used to think I could fix being tired with coffee, but eventually realised that no skincare product, supplement or productivity trick works properly if your body is exhausted.
One thing I started paying more attention to is magnesium, especially in the evenings. Magnesium is commonly linked to muscle relaxation and nervous system support, which is why so many people include it in their night routine. I also noticed that reducing caffeine later in the day makes a much bigger difference than I wanted to admit.
Now I really try to slow my evenings down a bit more. A shower, skincare, supplements, tea, less screen time. Very simple things, but they genuinely help me sleep better and feel more normal the next morning.

More Energy
I used to associate energy with being constantly “on”. More coffee, more work, more rushing around. But stable energy actually feels much calmer than that.
The biggest thing I learned is that low energy is often connected to basics people overlook completely. Hydration, iron levels, vitamin D, enough protein, B vitamins, proper sleep. None of it sounds particularly exciting, but all of it matters.
I also started paying much more attention to blood sugar balance and how certain foods affect my energy throughout the day. Whenever I go through periods of eating too much sugar or relying on quick processed foods, I notice the same cycle every time – a quick energy boost followed by feeling even more tired afterwards. That rise and drop in energy can leave you feeling sluggish, unfocused and craving even more sugar later in the day, which is why I’ve been trying to focus more on balanced meals and stable energy rather than quick fixes.
I also noticed that under-eating during busy days catches up with me very quickly. When I don’t eat properly, don’t drink enough water and rely on caffeine instead, I feel it immediately – usually through energy crashes, feeling mentally tired and feeling strangely anxious for no reason.

Healthy Hair From Within
Hair health is probably the thing that taught me patience the most.
Stress, lack of sleep, nutrition, hormones, iron levels – all of it affects hair much more than people think, and usually very slowly over time. That’s why I started paying more attention to supporting my hair from within instead of only focusing on products externally.
A huge part of why my hair feels healthier and stronger lately has been NOA Hair. When creating the formula, I wanted it to feel complete and focused on ingredients genuinely associated with long term hair health rather than quick trends. The supplement contains ingredients commonly associated with maintaining healthy hair and supporting hair structure, like biotin, zinc, selenium and iron. It also includes hydrolysed fish collagen and bamboo extract rich in silica, which are often associated with stronger looking hair and improved elasticity.
I also love that the formula includes MSM, vitamin C and copper, because those ingredients are connected to collagen production and overall hair structure support as well.
One thing I do want to say honestly is that this is not the kind of supplement where you suddenly see dramatic results after two weeks. Hair health takes consistency and patience. But after a few months of taking it regularly, I genuinely noticed my hair felt healthier, stronger and looked better overall.

Feeling More Balanced

At the end of the day, I think wellness looks different for everyone. What works for me might not work for somebody else, and I’ve stopped chasing the idea of having the “perfect” routine anyway.
What I do believe in though is consistency. Paying attention to your body a bit more, supporting it properly, sleeping better, eating better, managing stress better and finding small habits that genuinely make you feel good long term.
None of these things changed my life overnight. But together, over time, they made a huge difference in how I feel day to day – and honestly, that matters much more to me now than quick fixes ever did.
