The kind of outfits that never feel overdone, but somehow always look perfect
There’s a reason Hailey Bieber’s outfits end up on everyone’s Pinterest boards five minutes after she steps outside. Nothing ever feels forced. She rarely looks like she spent hours “putting together a look”, and yet somehow every silhouette, proportion and accessory lands exactly where it should.
What I personally love about her style is that it always stays wearable. Sophisticated, minimal, slightly masculine at times, but still very feminine in the way she styles it. And honestly, so many of her looks are versions of outfits I’d wear myself. She understands balance. If the outfit is oversized, something else feels sharp. If the look is minimal, the styling still gives it personality. Nothing screams for attention, but everything works.
These are five of my favourite Hailey Bieber looks, and exactly why I think they work so well.
Trench Coat + Capri Pants Somehow Looking Chic Again
A year ago I probably would not have believed capri trousers would make such a strong comeback, but here we are.
And this is exactly how to wear them without making the outfit feel dated.
The long trench coat completely changes the energy of the look. Instead of leaning too “2000s”, the styling feels polished and minimal. The white top keeps everything clean, the black shoulder bag grounds the outfit, and the barely-there sandals stop the capri trousers from feeling too heavy visually.
This is also one of those looks that proves how important outerwear is. The trench is doing half the work here.
Personally, I think this outfit would look equally good with pointed slingbacks, ballet flats or even loafers if you wanted something slightly more daytime.

The Sculpted Jacket + White Trousers Look
This entire outfit feels like a lesson in silhouette.
The cinched Magda Butrym jacket creates such a beautiful shape through the waist, while the relaxed white trousers keep the look balanced and soft. If everything had been fitted, it would have lost that effortless feeling immediately.
I also love the addition of the oversized black bag here – which I’m almost certain is the new Chanel large shopping bag that has been everywhere lately. It gives the outfit that slightly undone contrast that stops it from feeling too polished.
And again, this is something Hailey does constantly: one very sculptural piece, styled with basics that calm the outfit down.
The pointed heels and slick bun finish everything perfectly without competing with the jacket itself.

The Grey Suit That Feels Very 90s Editor-Off-Duty
This might actually be my favourite look out of all five.
The oversized grey tailoring, striped shirt and tie combination could have easily felt too corporate or too costume-like on someone else, but on Hailey it feels incredibly modern. Mostly because the fit is relaxed enough to feel effortless.
The undone sleeves, the burgundy details, the glasses, the jewellery stacked at the wrist… it all softens the masculinity of the tailoring just enough.
There’s also something very old Céline-era about this look to me. Minimal, sharp, slightly intellectual fashion without trying too hard.
And honestly, this is exactly why oversized tailoring continues to dominate. When the proportions are right, it makes everything look expensive.

The Oversized Blazer + Denim Shorts Combination
This is one of those outfits that should feel simple… but somehow never looks boring on her.
The white tank top, denim shorts and oversized checked blazer combination is basically built from wardrobe basics, but the proportions make the entire thing feel much more elevated. The blazer adds structure, the tiny sunglasses sharpen the look instantly, and the white socks with loafers give it that slightly preppy, off-duty energy Hailey does so well.
Honestly, the socks are what make this outfit. Without them, it would feel expected. With them, it suddenly feels styled.
I also love how easy this look is to recreate in different ways. You could swap the denim shorts for tailored Bermuda shorts, straight-leg jeans or even relaxed trousers and it would still work perfectly.
