The beauty products that survived every trend cycle
Beauty products go viral almost daily now and honestly, not everything deserves the attention it gets. Some products look incredible for one TikTok video and then disappear from the routine a week later. Others end up sitting in a drawer after all the excitement wears off.But I still genuinely love trying beauty products and deciding for myself what’s actually worth it – because every now and then, something really does live up to the hype.
These are the products I kept reaching for long after the viral moment passed. The ones I repurchase before they’re even finished, travel with constantly and somehow always come back to no matter how many new launches appear.
The Products I’d Repurchase Without Thinking Twice
Some beauty products become favourites almost immediately. Products like the Rhode Glazing Milk, the EADEM lip balm and the Summer Fridays lip tint are the kind of products that become part of your everyday routine before you even realise it. They live in every handbag, every travel makeup case and somehow always get used down to the very last drop.
Then there are the products that genuinely changed how my makeup looks. The M.Ph foundation, Dior Backstage Glow Maximizer and both the NARS concealer and foundation are products I constantly come back to because they simply work. They layer beautifully, photograph well, last throughout the day and somehow manage to make makeup feel polished without looking overly done.
Some products also surprised me by becoming long-term staples rather than short-lived trends. My LED mask, shower head filters and the Aestura Barrier Mist all fall into that category. They’re not necessarily the most exciting purchases at first glance, but they’re the kind of products that slowly become non-negotiable once you notice the difference they make.
And of course, there are the beauty staples I genuinely refuse to replace. The Makeup Forever lip liners, Shiseido eyelash curler, Armani Eye Tint in shade 22 and the Mario Ethereal Eyes palette have all survived countless beauty clear-outs, trend cycles and new launches. At this point, they feel less like trends and more like products I simply know I can rely on. The Wonderskin lip tint also deserves a mention because it somehow manages to survive coffee, dinners, long days and constant reapplying of lip balm – which still slightly amazes me every time I use it.

With new beauty launches appearing almost daily, it honestly takes a lot for a product to stay relevant beyond its viral moment. But these are the ones that genuinely stayed part of my routine, not because of the internet hype around them, but because I actually loved using them long after trying them for the first time.
I’m leaving links to all 15 products below and hopefully you discover something you end up loving just as much. ✨
