Fresh, Clean & Signature Perfume Picks ...

My perfume wardrobe shifts the moment the light changes.

Heavier, winter scents suddenly feel like cashmere in May – beautiful, but slightly misplaced. I want light on my skin. Air. Soft skin notes. A hint of something addictive that lingers when I walk away.

These are the fragrances currently living on my dresser – the ones I actually reach for.

Parfums de Marly Valaya Eau de Parfum

If I had to choose one scent that defines me right now, it would be Valaya.

I’ve been wearing it for months and I still get that little rush when I spray it. It’s clean but not sterile. Soft but not shy. There’s something creamy and almost cotton-shirt fresh about it, yet it feels incredibly refined. Effortless, but expensive.

It sits close to the skin in the most elegant way – like beautifully laundered silk. This has quietly become my signature scent, and I don’t say that lightly. It’s the perfume people now associate with me.

And honestly? I’m not bored of it. Not even close.

Victoria Beckham Beauty – Portofino ’97

I’ve always loved Victoria Beckham’s approach to beauty – minimal, precise, beautifully packaged. Her fragrances are no exception.

Portofino ’97 is sunshine bottled in the most chic way possible. It’s fresh, but grown-up fresh. Citrus, a little warmth, a little polish. It smells like an Italian summer, but not in a cliché holiday way – more like arriving at a private villa with oversized sunglasses and perfect tailoring.

Also, can we talk about the packaging? The turquoise bottle with gold detailing is so aesthetically pleasing it deserves permanent display.

This is the scent I reach for when I want to feel put-together but relaxed.

Tom Ford – Lost Cherry Eau de Parfum

There’s always room for a little drama, even in spring.

Lost Cherry is sweet, yes – but not innocent. It’s glossy, bold and slightly mischievous. On warmer days, it becomes juicier and almost flirtatious. I don’t wear this for everyday errands; I wear it when I want presence.

It’s the perfume equivalent of red lipstick with bare skin.

And it still turns heads.

Acqua di Parma – Buongiorno Eau de Parfum

This one feels like morning light through open windows.

Bright, citrus-forward, uplifting. It’s clean in the most optimistic way. The kind of fragrance that makes you want to get dressed properly, even if you’re just heading for coffee.

There’s something very Italian about it – polished but relaxed. Understated luxury. If spring had a soundtrack, this would be playing softly in the background.

Phlur – Father Figure Eau de Parfum

This surprised me.

Father Figure has a softness to it that feels modern and intimate. It’s creamy, slightly green, and sits beautifully on warm skin. It doesn’t shout – it hums.

I love wearing this on slower days, when I want something comforting but still interesting. It feels contemporary, slightly cool-girl coded, without trying too hard.

Glossier You Eau de Parfum

There’s a reason this became iconic.

It adapts. It melts into the skin and becomes personal. Slightly musky, slightly creamy, very wearable. It’s the kind of fragrance that makes people lean in and ask what you’re wearing.

For spring, it feels effortless. Clean skin, good hair, oversized blazer.

Nothing more needed.

The Soft Girl Spring Fragrance Mood

This season, I’m leaning into scents that feel close to the skin. Polished but not overpowering. Feminine without being sugary. Clean, creamy, slightly addictive.

Spring perfume, to me, isn’t about flowers screaming from across the room. It’s about subtlety. Texture. Skin.

And maybe – just maybe – finding the one that becomes yours.

Because nothing is more powerful than when someone says:
“You always smell incredible.”

And they mean you.

What do you think of my picks? I’d love to know any spring scent recommendations you have for me.
