Between work and life, these are the places that made 2025 unforgettable
Travel isn’t something I fit into my life – it is my life. It shapes my work, my routine and the way I experience the world. Between business and private trips, I’m constantly on the move, but the joy of discovering places never fades, especially when I’m visiting somewhere new for the very first time.
2025 was exciting, fast-paced and full of journeys, and these are the places that truly stayed with me.
Arriving from Milan is incredibly easy – and I always recommend driving if you can. Having a car gives you freedom to hop between charming towns and hidden views. Yes, there’s a train option too, but stations aren’t always close to hotels, and you’ll likely need a taxi.
Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is a city I deeply love, and one I keep returning to – both privately and professionally. There’s something incredibly calming about being here. Every visit feels familiar yet inspiring, and I always feel my best in this city. From the elegance of its architecture to the effortless luxury and sense of balance, Abu Dhabi has a way of grounding me while still feeling exciting. It’s a place where everything flows naturally, and one I know I’ll continue to return to again and again.

Capri
The moment June arrives, my mind goes straight to Capri. This island has my heart. For years now, it has been my idea of summer: slow days, close friends, incredible food and the sound of waves always in the background. Capri is where time softens – where mornings stretch into long lunches and evenings are spent by the sea.
I’ve written an entire blog post dedicated to my favourite restaurants here, which says everything about how much I adore the food. Capri is a perfect summer destination for anyone who appreciates beautiful nature, exceptional cuisine, charming boutique hotels and an authentic Mediterranean rhythm of life. It’s not just a place – it’s a feeling.

Sarajevo
Returning to my hometown this year, after a long time away, was incredibly emotional. Sarajevo welcomed me back in the most beautiful way. I truly enjoyed every moment – from walking through its authentic streets to reconnecting with family and relatives.
Filippo, of course, fully embraced the local cuisine (especially the ćevapi), while for me, every flavour carried memories and stories from my childhood. Sarajevo has a soul that’s impossible to explain unless you’ve felt it. I left with a full heart and a strong desire to return again very soon.

Riyadh
Riyadh is a city I absolutely love. I visited primarily for work and had the opportunity to attend Fashion Week there this year, which made the experience even more special. Beyond the professional side, I’m always drawn to the beauty treatments in Riyadh – they truly do them exceptionally well.
What makes this city unforgettable, though, are the people. The warmth, kindness and emotional openness are remarkable. The hospitality is on another level, and every visit leaves me feeling genuinely welcomed. I always look forward to returning.

Belgrade
Serbia will always hold a special place in my heart, and Belgrade will forever feel like home.
This year, I visited Serbia multiple times – both privately and for work. I’m usually based in Belgrade because so many of my close friends are here. When I’m in the city, I truly relax. I film less, I slow down more, and I simply enjoy being present with people I don’t get to see often.
Belgrade is vibrant, warm and full of life. The people are incredible hosts, the energy is contagious, and the food might genuinely be some of the best in the world. If you visit Serbia, you’ll quickly understand that here, people know how to eat well and enjoy life even better. No matter the day of the week, there’s always somewhere to go and something to celebrate.

St Moritz
St Moritz is my happy place during the winter months. We come here several times every winter, and it never loses its magic. It’s cosy, elegant and effortlessly charming.
From skiing and beautiful spa experiences to long walks through the town, great shopping and wonderful food – everything feels refined yet comforting. If you love true winter, snow, excellent skiing and impeccable service, St Moritz absolutely deserves a place on your list.

Doha
Doha is another city I visited several times this year, both for work and privately. At the end of November, I attended Fashion Trust Arabia, which made this trip particularly special.
I truly love Doha – its cultural richness, impressive museums, beautiful restaurants and excellent shopping. The climate is perfect, and every visit feels inspiring. I’ve also written a full blog post with my personal must-see places and recommendations, because this city has so much to offer and deserves to be explored properly.

Warsaw
I ended the year in Warsaw, attending a wonderful event with Magda Butrym. The city pleasantly surprised me. It’s elegant, welcoming and somehow reminded me of Belgrade in its energy and spirit.
I had a great time, met inspiring people and enjoyed discovering a city that blends history and modernity so effortlessly. It’s definitely a place I’d love to return to and explore even more.

Looking back, 2025 reminded me why travel continues to inspire me so deeply. Each destination brought something unique – memories, emotions, connections and moments I’ll carry with me. And that, to me, is what truly makes a place unforgettable.
