A seasonal approach to winter skincare for face and body
In December, my skincare routine becomes less about strict steps and more about adapting to the moment. Between cold weather, busy days and constant travel, I focus on what my skin needs in different situations rather than sticking to a fixed structure. This approach keeps my routine simple, flexible and realistic – and it works.
Morning Glow
Mornings are all about hydration, protection and creating a fresh, healthy base for the day. I keep things lightweight but effective, focusing on products that wake up my skin and help it feel comfortable throughout the day.
Alongside my facial skincare, I always apply a lightweight, hydrating body lotion that absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any greasy residue. It keeps my skin soft and comfortable, especially during colder mornings.
A hydrating serum, a light moisturiser and SPF are my non-negotiables, giving my skin a natural glow and reliable protection throughout the day.

Evening Repair
Evenings are when I slow things down and allow my skin to recover. This is the moment for richer textures and more nourishing formulas that support repair overnight.
After showering, I switch to a richer body lotion or a body oil to deeply nourish my skin and restore moisture lost during the day. It feels especially important in December, when cold weather and indoor heating can leave skin feeling dry and tight.
I finish my evening routine with a comforting night cream, a facial oil or a mask, depending on how my skin feels – turning skincare into a quiet, grounding ritual.

Quick Touch-Ups
Throughout the day, I like having a few essentials on hand for quick refreshes. These small touch-ups make a big difference, especially during long days or when I go straight from one plan to the next.
A lip balm, a hydrating face mist and a hand cream are always within reach, helping my skin stay comfortable, hydrated and refreshed – even in dry winter conditions.
