Time to get cosy ...
There’s something about autumn that makes me want to wrap myself in the softest, coziest knitwear and never take it off. Honestly, I spend most of fall and winter in one knit piece or another. Warm wool and cashmere will forever be my favourites – they’re soft, breathable, and keep me perfectly cosy no matter the occasion. The best part? This season’s knitwear options are not only comfortable but also incredibly chic, making them perfect for styling beyond just lazy Sundays.
There are some amazing designer brands, and some of my favourite pieces usually come from Khaite, The Row, or Lisa Yang. But besides the luxurious pieces, there are also amazing highstreet options with great quality and beautiful cuts. Just now, I noticed COS and Mango have some gorgeous pieces, and very often H&M surprises me too. I’ll be including some of these more affordable options in my selection, so everyone can find something they’ll love.

My Favourite Knitwear Pieces
Oversized Jumpers
If there’s one piece I reach for almost daily, it’s an oversized jumper. There’s just nothing more effortless – I love styling them with jeans for an off-duty look or pairing them with wide-leg trousers for something a little more elevated. They’re the kind of piece that works for coffee runs, office days, or casual weekends. Bonus: the chunkier the knit, the better it looks layered under a structured coat.
Knit Tops & Tees
For lighter layering, knit tops and t-shirts are my go-to. They’re perfect when I don’t want the bulk of a big jumper but still want that cosy feel. I wear them to relaxed dinners, casual events, or even just for everyday errands. They always look put-together without being too much, especially when styled with simple jewellery or a sleek bag.
Co-Ord Sets
Knit sets are probably my favourite knitwear trend for autumn and winter – I quite literally live in them. They’re ridiculously comfortable and yet look polished enough to wear out. Whether I’m at home, running around the city, or even travelling, a matching knit set makes me feel stylish with minimal effort. Throw on a great coat and boots, add a chic handbag, and you’re instantly ready to go. I also love more elegant knit sets, like skirt-and-cardigan combinations, which have such a refined, feminine feel. They’re proof that knitwear doesn’t just have to be cosy – it can be incredibly chic too.

Autumn is officially here, and I’ve left all the knitwear pieces I love ready for you to explore. From luxe designer favourites to highstreet gems, there’s something for every style and budget. So, are you ready to dive into your autumn shopping and wrap yourself in all things cosy, chic, and totally fall-ready?
