Notes from Milan ...

Fashion Month doesn’t slow down – and after London, it was time for Milan. The energy of this city is always so different: glamorous, fast-paced, but with that unmistakable Italian flair that makes every show and presentation feel like a celebration of style. The good thing about Milan is that I get to be at home, in my own apartment – it always feels a little easier than staying in a hotel. I function better in my own space, with my whole wardrobe at hand for anything I might need – no endless packing and unpacking of suitcases. This season was packed with fittings, iconic shows, and, of course, those unforgettable moments that make Fashion Week so special.

Day One

The first day was all about organisation and prep with the team – catching up, setting the plan, and getting everything in place. I had fittings at Dolce & Gabbana and Ferragamo, which always feel exciting because they really set the tone for what’s ahead. By the afternoon, all my looks were confirmed, delivered, and carefully lined up at the apartment, ready for the hectic days to come. Honestly, nothing beats the feeling of knowing the outfits are set and the schedule is clear – officially ready for Milan Fashion Week madness!

Later that evening, I took a little break from fashion and joined Filippo for a football match – such a fun way to wrap up the first day before the whirlwind began the next morning.

Day Two

The day started early with a quick team meeting, followed by hair and make-up prep. First on the schedule: the Fendi show. We shot some great content before heading in, and the show itself was a burst of colour – from royal blue to soft pinks and striking reds. It’s safe to say spring will be anything but minimal.

Right after, it was time for an outfit change and off to the Brunello Cucinelli presentation. Of course, the Milan rain decided to make things dramatic – suede boots were definitely not the best idea, but somehow I made it on time. I’ve always admired Brunello’s ability to stay true to refined, timeless style without relying on loud logos. The materials and craftsmanship speak for themselves, and this season was no exception.

To close the day, we headed to the opening of Palazzo Fendi on Via Montenapoleone. After over a year of renovation, the space is finally open – and it’s more than just a boutique. It’s a true blend of luxury, art, and Italian design. A definite must-see when in Milan.

Day Three

The third day started bright and early – make-up and hair before 8am, ready for the Max Mara show. I’ve always loved their morning presentations; being such an early bird myself, it feels like the perfect start to the day. My all-burgundy look was a favourite – elegant yet cosy, just the way I like it. The show, as always, was filled with timeless classics: knits, coats, and beautifully structured belts that make their collections so wearable season after season.

After a quick break and outfit change back at home, it was time for the Prada show – one of those Fashion Week traditions I never miss. The venue was stunning, I got to catch up with friends, and the collection itself was strong: a little whimsical, a little elegant, and just so Prada. I even spotted a bag that went straight onto my wishlist. After the show, we made some content in my Prada look, and then I finally had a free afternoon to pause and recharge.

Day Four

The day began with the Jimmy Choo presentation, and for me, the excitement started even before the event. I was surprised with the most beautiful gifts from my Jimmy Choo family: a cognac python-inspired shoulder bag and zebra-print slingbacks with pearl-drop heels – both absolutely dreamy.

The presentation itself felt like stepping into a modern-day secret garden. Sparkling Cinderella-style mules, romantic ballerinas that carried a hint of nostalgia, and chic sneakers that made comfort feel glamorous. It was refined, feminine, and elegant – a reminder of why I adore this brand so much. And since this day was a little less hectic than the others, we actually had a free afternoon to pause and recharge before the busy finale of the week.

Day Five

The final day of Milan Fashion Week was also the busiest, with three shows on the schedule and the rain making everything just a bit more challenging. First up was Ferragamo, where I wore a relaxed olive-green dress paired with knee-high boots – practical and stylish enough to get me through the wet streets. From there, I had just minutes to change before heading to the Luisa Spagnoli show. The venue was so beautiful and a little nostalgic, reminding me of my early days at Fashion Week in Milan.

After a quick stop back at the apartment to prepare, it was time for my last show of the week: Dolce & Gabbana. And what a finale it was. Meryl Streep walked right past me – such an iconic moment – and the collection was everything you’d expect from Dolce: starting with pyjama-style daywear before moving into dramatic leather jackets, sheer fabrics, and those signature black details. It was powerful, sensual, and truly unforgettable.
