French Charm on Every Plate ...
I’ve honestly lost count of how many times I’ve been to Paris. Between work, Fashion Weeks, and weekend escapes, it feels like this city has always been a part of me. Beyond being incredibly beautiful – with its rich history, stunning architecture, iconic cafés, and endless tourist attractions – Paris holds a very special place in my heart.
I even spent a part of my life living here, which made me fall in love with the city on a much deeper level. There’s just something magical about the way Paris makes you feel… as if every street corner has a story to tell. And, of course, every visit wouldn’t be complete without indulging in the incredible food scene.
Over the years, I’ve had the chance to explore countless bistros, restaurants, and hidden gems – so today, I wanted to share a few of my personal favourites. These are the places I keep going back to – the ones that feel like a little slice of home every time I’m in town.
1. Hotel Costes
I adore Hotel Costes – not only do I often stay here, but I also find myself coming back for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s just one of those places that always hits the spot. The courtyard is my favourite area to sit (definitely try to reserve in advance!), especially in spring and summer when the vibe is truly magical. My go-to dishes? The crab salad, spicy rigatoni, and sashimi – absolutely delicious.

2. La Belle Epoque
This is your classic French bistro with that unmistakable Parisian energy. It’s the perfect spot for dinner with a big group of friends or a family gathering. I have the fondest memories here, and I can confidently say I’ve had the best lentil salad of my life at this restaurant. It’s cosy, vibrant, and wonderfully authentic.

3. LouLou
It might be considered a bit basic by some, but for me – especially in summer – LouLou is pure perfection. The terrace is unbeatable, and I always find myself craving their truffle pizza (hands down, one of my absolute favourites). It’s a must to book ahead, as it’s extremely popular, but well worth the effort.

4. Bar des Pres
Let me put it simply: the food here is next-level. Everything on the menu is incredible, but the avocado bites? Heaven. They melt in your mouth. The whole space is beautifully designed with warm, ambient lighting that makes your dinner feel cosy, chic, and truly special. It’s one of those places where the atmosphere is just as good as the food.

5. Lapérouse
This one is all about elegance and old-world charm. The interiors are breathtaking – think vintage walls, massive chandeliers, and antique mirrors. You can even book private rooms for an intimate dining experience with friends. My recommendation? The truffle pasta. Divine doesn’t even begin to describe it.

5. Sugaar
Chic and intimate, Sugaar is one of those hidden gems that you almost want to keep secret. The vibe is effortlessly Parisian, with dim lighting, stylish decor, and an amazing menu that’s particularly known for its meat dishes. It’s the kind of place you go to for a slow, luxurious dinner – romantic, elegant, and full of charm.

Paris will always have my heart – and discovering new places to eat is one of the many reasons I fall in love with this city over and over again. Whether you’re here for a quick visit or planning something longer, I hope this list helps you create your own little food memories in the city of lights. Bon appétit!
