Whispers of Summer Air
I’ve never really been the type to stick to just one perfume. I definitely have scents I gravitate towards in the colder months, and others that feel just right when the sun’s out and the days stretch long into golden evenings. But even within summer itself, there are layers – different moods, different settings, different outfits – and I love matching my fragrance to all of that.
For a slow morning on the Amalfi Coast or a holiday on Capri, I reach for something citrusy, crisp and fresh. For an evening event under the stars, I want something a little more complex – spicy, warm, maybe even a little unexpected. I connect perfumes with moments, outfits, places — they’re like invisible accessories. But one thing’s for sure: a scent lingers long after a person is gone. Sometimes, when I meet someone new, I don’t remember what they wore – but I’ll remember how they smelled. There’s something about a beautiful fragrance cloud that turns heads without saying a word.
Here are six perfumes I’m loving this summer, each for a slightly different mood — all unforgettable in their own way.
1. Valentino Sogno in Rosso
If you’re into sweeter scents, this one is for you. It reminds me of vintage lipstick in the best possible way. There’s a soft vanilla warmth, but not the kind we’ve all smelled a hundred times – it’s unique, rich, and really feminine.

2. Mizensir Celebes Wood
This is the one I get the most compliments on. It’s spicy, deep, and has that something special that makes people ask, “What are you wearing?” It’s bold but never overpowering – and it definitely leaves a trace.

3. Roja Elysium Pour Femme
A beautiful balance of clean and floral – think white flowers, a touch of musk, and freshness that makes it perfect for daytime. It’s elegant, uplifting, and smells effortlessly expensive.

4. Riviera Californienne
This one is… seductive. It’s slightly spicy, with a note that almost feels masculine for a second – but it never veers into “man’s cologne” territory. It’s so unique that I honestly struggle to describe it, which is probably why I love it so much.

5. Tom Ford Soleil Blanc
A summer classic. Creamy coconut, sun lotion vibes, warm skin in the sun – it’s everything we want summer to smell like. It’s familiar in a comforting way, and universally loved for a reason.

6. Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue
My forever favourite. Citrus, lemon, crisp air – it smells like sunshine on the Italian coast. I always come back to it, and every time I wear it, I’m reminded why I fell in love with it in the first place.
