A personal list of must-try spots for unforgettable meals by the sea.
Every summer, without fail, I find myself drawn back to the charm of Saint-Tropez. There’s something so special about this little corner of the French Riviera – the light, the energy, the endless sunshine… and, of course, the incredible food.
For me, Saint-Tropez is more than just a holiday spot – it’s a place that blends laid-back luxury with timeless elegance. And if you know me, you’ll know how much I love discovering (and re-discovering) beautiful places to eat. Whether it’s a long, leisurely lunch by the sea or an ambient dinner at sunset, I’m always excited to explore new flavours and settings.
So here it is – a little round-up of my go-to restaurants in Saint-Tropez. These are the places I find myself coming back to year after year, and I hope you love them as much as I do.
1. Loulou
This might just be my favourite spot in Saint-Tropez. The setting is absolutely beautiful – it’s the closest to the sea, which means you’re dining with the most stunning views and the sound of waves in the background. The seafood selection is unreal (trust me on this), the service is always spot on, and the entire atmosphere feels effortlessly chic. I never skip the Tarte Tropézienne here – it’s the perfect sweet bite after a light summer lunch.

2. Beefbar
This one holds a special place in my heart – it’s the spot for Filippo and me. We honestly love the entire menu, but if you go, please try the mini burgers – they’re my absolute must-order. The vibe is relaxed yet elevated, and it’s perfect for those evenings when you want to indulge a little and enjoy a great glass of wine with even better company. For me, the atmosphere is a solid 10/10.

3. Kinugawa
If you’re in the mood for Japanese, this is the place to be. The dinner atmosphere here is magical – soft lighting, a view of the sunset, and the perfect soundtrack playing in the background. The menu is refined and delicious, with fresh flavours and a beautifully curated selection of dishes. It’s romantic, elegant, and just what you want for a summer night out.

4. Sénéquier
A true Saint-Tropez classic. Yes, it’s iconic, but for good reason. I adore coming here in the morning for a cappuccino and just watching the world go by – people walking past the waterfront, the boats gently rocking in the harbour… it’s the kind of scene that never gets old. And their dessert selection? So worth it.

5. Gigi
The cutest spot with the loveliest atmosphere. It’s a restaurant and beach club all in one, which means you can easily spend the entire day here – from sunbathing to sipping cocktails to indulging in the most amazing food. My absolute favourite thing to order is the truffle pizza – it’s rich, indulgent, and completely unforgettable. It’s such a dreamy way to spend a summer day in Saint-Tropez.

So there you have it – my personal Saint-Tropez restaurant guide. If you end up visiting any of these places, let me know what you think… and don’t forget to save room for dessert.
