Everything you need to get your skin glowing
If you’re someone who’s as into fashion as I am, constantly striving to keep up with ever-evolving trends, then skincare, by comparison, seems like much more of a constant within the fashion and beauty space. But, while the basic idea of what’s good for our skin hasn’t changed, there is always new research and breakthrough discoveries on how to best prepare for our skin. And in 2024, I’ve had the joy of developing my own obsession with skincare. From Korean beauty favourites that skincare fanatics swear by to investment-worthy devices, plus budget-friendly options that I’ve been a fan of forever, here’s my roundup of the best skincare this year.

Serums
Serums can sometimes seem a little confusing at first but, trust me, they’re not. Once you know exactly what you’re looking for in a serum, finding the right one is easy. I’m such a fan of Korean beauty serums – COSRX does one with snail mucin that’s revived for its anti-ageing properties and Beauty of Joseon’s Glow Serum is great for brightening and hydrating.

Masks
Who doesn’t love a good face mask? Whether it’s a sheet mask as part of my in-flight skincare routine or one I can spend a little more time on as part of my wind-down rituals before bed – I’m always up for a little self-care! Biodance is a longtime favourite brand of mine and their sheet masks are so easy to slap on no matter what I’m up to. For something a little more indulgent, Omorovicza’s Ultramoor Mud Mask is a good option – it instantly reduces the size of pores and removes impurities, plus it’s about as close to a full mud bath as you’ll want to get regularly.
And, of course, we can’t forget about lips. Laneige’s Lip Sleeping Mask is a tried-and-tested favourite of mine – and I’m loving the warm vanilla flavour for all the autumn/winter feels I’m after this season.

Moisturiser
A trusty moisturiser that you love endlessly and keep going back to will be your best friend when it comes to your skincare routine. I have a few beloved picks that I’m incredibly loyal to, from industry-approved Korean beauty options to specialised nighttime creams and more. For a natural, dewy complexion, the Dr. Jart+ Skin Barrier Moisturising Cream is a great option. And for something super hardworking Medik8’s Advanced Night Restore is great for anti-ageing and repariing you skin’s barrier.

Eye Care
Eye cream is another crucial step in my skincare routine. The skin around our eyes is, of course, more delicate so extra care needs to be taken when picking the right product that you’ll rely on over and over. Whether you want to focus on anti-ageing, banishing dark circles or simply giving the skin around your eyes a little brighten, I’ve got a small selection of go-to options that will cover all of these bases.

Beauty Devices
Beauty devices are some of my favourite products in my skincare routine. Good ones can be a little on the pricier side but if you make the investment it’s so worth it. Great as part of my relaxing nighttime or self-care routine and I like to think of it as such a worthwhile use of my downtime.
