Introducing the Dolce&Gabbana My Lip Stylo Collection

With an onslaught of Christmas parties, gifting season, and so many excuses to treat ourselves arriving all at once, the launch of Dolce&Gabbana’s new My Lip Stylo collection has come at just the right time. With three finishes and 54 shades that channel the label’s signature Italian romance, there’s everything from rich reds and orange-tinted hues that lean into this season’s festivities, to playful pinks and nudes. Most definitely something for everyone.

To add a sweet and nostalgic touch, each shade is named after a significant year in the brand’s history or a celebratory date. I’m going to break down each of the three hydrating finishes – there’s My Comfy Matte, My Sculpt Satin and My Juicy Sheer, plus my top picks of shades to give you guys some inspo for this season’s makeup looks.

My favourite shades from this latest D&G beauty offering are … 

MY 1981 – a warm brown nude that’s named after the date Stefano Gabbana & Domenico Dolce met for the first time 

MY 1984 – a neutral toned nude pink commemorating the year of Dolce&Gabbana’s first fashion show 

MY 2018 – a vibrant red in celebration of the brand’s fan-favourite Devotion Bag launching 

I love a good matte-finish lipstick and D&G’s My Comfy Matte options are all about giving us that instant pop of rich colour, too. Infused with Sicilian avocado and hyaluronic acid, this formula has an ultra-creamy texture to nourish and hydrate your lips as you wear it. But my favourite thing about this finish is its rich pigmented colour – literally only one swipe is needed for a bold look. The shades range from peachy nudes and rosy pinks to deeper reds and oranges that are perfect for standout looks this festive season. It’s my new matte go-to!

The perfect balance between matte and glossy, a satin finish gives just the right kind of soft, luscious glow that this season calls for. It’s infused with Italian goji berry to help plump your lips and hyaluronic acid to deeply moisturise. With six hours of lasting hydration – it’s an all-day kind of thing. Plus, it gives a fuller lip look which I LOVE. The shades on offer are super broad, there’s everything from neutrals to pinks, reds, and oranges.

Combining the shine of a gloss with the comfort of a balm, the Juicy Sheer finish is perhaps my favourite of all. It’s SUPER hydrating with a high-shine, glossy finish. The gorgeously smooth melting formula is infused with Italian Olive Oil to condition your lips and hyaluronic acid to deeply moisturise. The shades feel very statement (there are magentas, reds and oranges), plus classic pinks and neutrals if you want a more subtle shimmer.
