Black Friday isn’t always just about the clothes, it’s about the thrill of securing the pieces you love on sale. From finds that are great for investing in (especially for a discounted price) to everyday staples and those statement items that are worship worthy. I love securing any kind of saving around this time of year almost as much as I love styling my new purchases.

This sale season, I’ve really been into high-low dressing, enjoying fusing a mix of high-end styles with high-street finds. Plus, this means that whatever budget you’re working with, there’s something I’ve shopped that might be just right for you. Expect everything from COS coats in the colour of the season to Fair Isle knits and fuzzy shearling options from the likes of Toteme. Let’s take a look …

Coming as a surprise to no one, Khaite is proving one of my absolute favourites this November. The deals have just been SO GOOD and there’s savings to be had on everything from the label’s classic knits to shearling outerwear, boots and Christmas party-approved dresses. Basically all of the things you want to invest in but are always looking for an excuse to do so. Well, now you have one!

Another top pick I’ve been loving this Black Friday shopping extravaganza is Luisa Via Roma. I’ve always loved this Italian retailer for its exquisitely curated selection of luxury pieces and with the added bonus of Black Friday sale prices, I’m definitely a little obsessed. Top picks include this long shearling coat from Toteme – great as a statement final layer of outfits, and there’s also so many classic knitwear, loafers and boots on offer, too.

Always a winning brand for those of us who love to invest in classic luxury pieces, Net-a-Porter does online shopping right. So when Black Friday rolls around, heading to this site is a must. On offer this year, there’s an impressive selection of knitwear (think cosy brushed alpaca sweaters plus an impressive selection of chunky Fair Isle and intarsia knit options), plenty of investment-worthy outerwear and smart tailored styles, too.

Each year, H&M proves one of my absolute favourite high-street retailers for Black Friday deals – super budget-friendly and such a great mix of both wardrobe staples and fun, statement pieces. This round of sales sees cosy jumpers and classic blazers reign supreme, plus simple jersey options that will work great as buildable basics all year round.

This puffer jacket is something I highly recommend as its very practical, versatile and the price is more than fair.

When it comes to affordable knitwear, Reformation does it best. And for Black Friday, the deals on cosy staples are even better. I always like to stock up because the styles prove super timeless. From baggy v-neck options to Merino wool pieces that feel super luxurious and turtlenecks that I’m already looking forward to wearing as part of transitional looks as we enter into spring next year – Reformation has got it all.

Everyone knows that COS is perhaps my all-time favourite high-street label. Sure, it can be a little pricier than some of its counterparts but the quality, design and range of styles on offer is unparalleled when it comes to budget-friendly options. This season, I’ve been loving the chocolate brown colour of the moment and COS has so many pieces in this delectable shade. My other top picks include trench coats, Merino wool knitwear, tailored trousers that are set to make office styling easy, plus an abundance of festive styles that will be fun for Christmas party season.

I used to love Abercrombie for good basics and this seasons I really got reminded why too. This long sleeve t shirt is such a perfect layering piece that keeps all the warmth in, and the trousers are great for both work and play.
