LONDON'S BEEN CALLING
London has always been home to fashion’s rebels. It’s the birthplace of trailblazing designers like Alexander McQueen and Daniel Lee, and has been instrumental in propelling some of fashion’s most polarising and influential movements like grunge. This year marks 40 years of London Fashion Week so the city’s reputation for celebrating home-grown designers, spotlighting new talent and embracing new ideas was in full swing.
To mark the occasion, I wanted to have some fun with my LFW Spring/Summer 2025 outfits, showcasing everything from celebration-worthy sparkles and standout pops of colour, to sophisticated silhouettes and metallic accessories. Read and shop the breakdown below!
Nensi Dojaka
It’s only been five years since Nensi Dojaka graduated from London’s famous Central Saint Martins fashion school but the designer has already garnered an impressive reputation for her strappy designs, daring cutout details and contemporary take on glamour.
For her eponymous label’s SS25 show at London Fashion Week, I opted for a strapless silver sequin-embellished gown. It featured asymmetrical cutouts and criss-crossed detailing in contrast mocha across the bodice and in a block colour from the hips to the maxi hem. To make it weather-proof for London, I layered over a classic black blazer, and accessorised with Alaïa’s structured heart-shaped Le Coeur bag in metallic silver – ready for the post-show party.

JW Anderson
Next up it was off to JW Anderson and the world of all things weird, wacky and wonderful. Known for his thought-provoking silhouettes and accessories that routinely make headlines for polarising the fashion set, it’s always a pleasure to see the creative genius behind the designer’s bold and whimsical creations up close.
For my look, I went with something a little more minimalist so I could let the outfits on the runway do the talking. A black long-sleeve dress with cutout details at the bottom to create a draped hem effect did the trick. Understated and stylish. I paired my getup with a metallic gold mini top-handle bag and black sharp point-toe shoes with interesting almond shaped cutout heels to make a subtle statement.

Roksanda
I’m always keen to support a fellow Serbian working in the industry so, of course, I couldn’t wait to attend the Roksanda show. The designer is known for her imaginative use of colour, patterns and commanding silhouettes and she nailed this with my look. A black sleeveless midi dress with a contrast burgundy oversized ribbon detail tied around the waist and falling to the floor with a train. Of course, I had to style with my beloved vintage Hermès Kelly 28 in the gorgeous rich burgundy Rouge H and sunglasses to match.

TOVE Studio
My look for TOVE Studio was all about easy elegance. A navy blazer tied at the waist, plus slim-leg trousers, styled with patent black sharp point-toe shoes and my Hermès Constance in grey exotic leather for added sophistication.

Nadine Merabi Store Opening
And last up is what I wore for the beautiful Nadine Merabi’s store opening. The designer is known for her statement sparkles, frills and feathers, but I love her approach to simple and sophisticated tailored styles too like this two-piece. A black strapless top with a long floor-length train and black wide-leg trousers, plus a thin belt at the waist.

So that wraps up LFW. I’ve loved show hopping in a host of softly tailored and minimalist styles, with luxurious accessories thrown in for good measure. Next stop … Milan!
