Shoulder

Today, we are exploring my forever favourite topic – bags! We’ll be talking about designer bags on the market that you can find for under €500. I’ve done the legwork for you, because I believe there are many brands out there that deserve more recognition for their top-notch quality.

I’m talking about beautiful bags from DeMellier and Polène, which have recently seen a surge in popularity and prices. Made from genuine leather with a lifetime of free repairs, these brands are truly worth exploring.

BEACH

As the hot days draw nearer, I’ve curated a selection of beach bags. Sizes vary, making it easier for you to pick your favourite. The ones I’ve highlighted here include Christian Louboutin, Loewe, Isabel Marant, and Jacquemus.

TOTE+BUCKET

Let’s talk tote bags. They come in various styles, at the best prices, right here! Dragon Diffusion is a brand whose bags are increasingly seen across social media, and I just can’t get enough of them. Inspired by traditional woven baskets used for centuries worldwide, these totes are spacious, chic, and give off a bit of Bottega vibes. What’s not to love?  Next up is a JW Anderson tote bag. It’s massive, a white heaven that reminds me a bit of The Row’s Idaho bag. For those feeling a bit more adventurous, we have the Coperni heart tote. It’s not a bag everyone can pull off effortlessly, but it’s so unique and of high quality, adding a special charm to any outfit. If you’re looking for a bag that’ll give you a true runway moment, you’ve found it for sure! Let’s also touch on a subcategory, which is bucket bags. First up is Coach, for those who love the monogram print that’s easy to match and features a simple design. Another example of this model is the JW Anderson Corner bucket bag. It’s made entirely from calfskin with a suede interior. And the colour is a story of its own… I’m trying not to be biased, but Songmont is my favourite!

VINTAGE

When it comes to Vintage bags, I’ve picked out some lovely options. Louis Vuitton‘s Mini Papillon bag is perfect for evening outings, as is the Pochette Cherry, both in monogram versions. And for those who prefer their bag to be the main attraction, there’s the LV Vernis. I’ve also found two Gucci Pochette bags, one in brown and the other in a lighter canvas. Next is the Chloe Paddington Satchel Black, if you’ve watched my PFW vlog, you know this bag was my first major crush. Till this day, my feelings towards this beauty haven’t changed much. I’ve also found a vintage Prada bag, the nylon Animalier Boston.

MINI

Lastly, let’s talk about mini bags or those you can carry for a special occasion. First up is the Bottega Veneta Butter, which I found in two variations. Also, this Nappa Intrecciato, which is more of a cosmetic case, but I think it can serve our purpose well. Next is the famous Coperni Swipe, available in various colours, but mostly in metallic finishes. Definitely not to be missed if you love a bit of edgy fashion. Then there’s this little gem from the brand  Clio Peppiatt , a mini bag adorned with crystals and pearls. It could easily be a wedding bag too. Next up is a YSL clutch, a simple classic that always comes in handy. With golden details. I’ve also highlighted the geometric bag from Maison Margiela, which is definitely more of an accessory than a bag, considering what all can fit into it. And lastly, a total party bag adorned with crystals from Self-Portrait, perfect for all your essentials.
