Hello my lovelies,
Travelling frequently, especially on long flights, can be quite the fashion challenge. I often find myself looking for the perfect balance between comfort and style when navigating through airports. Whether you’re a seasoned jet-setter or preparing for your first big trip, having a collection of comfortable clothes and chic airport outfits can make all the difference.
In this post, I’ll share my favourite tips for staying stylish yet comfy during your travels, ensuring you always look your best, no matter how long the flight. From versatile layering pieces to trendy footwear, I’ve got all the tips you need to master the art of airport style.
Comfortable yet stylish outfits
Starting with basics
When it comes to airport outfits, the key is to combine comfort with style effortlessly. One of my go-to combinations includes a pair of comfortable sneakers, well-fitted jeans, and a high-quality T-shirt.
This basic yet stylish ensemble ensures you stay comfortable during long flights while still looking chic. Comfortable sneakers are a must for navigating through airports and walking to your gate, while a good pair of jeans offers both durability and a polished look.
Pairing these with a quality T-shirt creates a versatile foundation that can be easily dressed up with a blazer or a denim jacket

Business casual
As someone who often runs straight from the airport to meetings, I understand the need for an outfit that’s both comfortable and professional. This is where the business casual look comes in handy.
A well-tailored blazer paired with comfortable pants strikes the perfect balance between style and practicality. Adding a pair of sleek shoes ensures that you can move swiftly through the airport without compromising on professionalism.
This combination allows you to stay comfortable during your flight and transition seamlessly into a business setting, making it ideal for those hectic travel days when time is of the essence.

Layering for different climates
Keep it warm
Travelling often means encountering a variety of climates, from chilly airplane cabins to warm destinations. That’s why I’ve mastered the art of layering, which is essential for any frequent flyer. Versatile layers not only keep me comfortable but also help me adapt to different temperatures with ease.
I always start with a breathable base layer, such as a lightweight T-shirt or tank top, which serves as the foundation of my outfit. Next, I add a cosy cardigan or a stylish sweater to keep warm during the flight.
A leather jacket is a must-have for travelling which provides an extra layer of warmth.
This way I do not need to worry about being cold on a plane especially when the colder days come.

Off to warmer destinations
When I’m off to warmer places, I make sure my airport outfit is light and breezy, perfect for stepping off the plane and into a sunny destination. I opt for airy clothes that keep me cool and comfortable during the flight.
A lightweight dress or a pair of loose-fitting trousers paired with a soft, breathable top are my go-to choices.
And of course, no warm-weather outfit is complete without stylish footwear – my favourite picks at the moment are The Row ginza sandals. These chic and comfortable sandals are perfect for navigating through the airport and straight onto the sandy shores of my destination.

Cashmere set as a must
Obsession
I have to admit, I am absolutely obsessed with cashmere sets when it comes to travel. There’s something incredibly luxurious and comforting about wrapping myself in the softness of cashmere, especially during long flights. Cashmere sets offer the perfect blend of elegance and coziness, making them my go-to choice for airport outfits.
A matching cashmere set, consisting of a sweater and joggers, keeps me warm and comfortable without sacrificing style. The natural breathability of cashmere is perfect for chilly airplane cabins, yet it’s lightweight enough to prevent overheating. Plus, the refined look of cashmere means I can step off the plane looking polished and put-together.
