Isn’t this everyone’s favourite time of the month? It is mine, so I thought its a great idea to start a bit these new series of blog posts helping you spend your hard earned money on pieces you will not regret. Consider it a mini tour where I’ll be sharing tips, ideas, and inspiration for your next shopping spree, focusing on those slightly more indulgent buys perfect for the start of the month. These are not just trendy picks but timeless classics, carefully selected to add depth and sophistication to your collection. Let’s dive right in.
Starting with footwear, you’ve probably noticed my go-to favourites like The Row boots. They’re not just comfortable but also chic, making them a staple in my wardrobe. Let’s not forget the Alaia ballet flats, a trendy yet timeless addition to any outfit, soon to be featured in a detailed post. Speaking of classics, The Row black ballet flats are a must-have for their elegance and versatility. And of course, Saint Laurent heels—timeless, sophisticated, and always on point.
Now, onto bags, where Hermès reigns supreme. The Mini Kelly, Kelly, and Elan are iconic choices that never go out of style, but I know you knew that even before this blog post so lets talk about those easier to snatch pieces Bottega Veneta deserves a mention with their Andiamo bag—a soon-to-be-featured on the blog, the Vanity shoulder bag, and the versatile Hop tote bag in various sizes and colours. I’m excited to share my newest addition, the Magda Butrym bag with its signature flower detail. Who would I be if I wouldn’t mention The Row? The Row bags, always in high demand for good reason. The Half Moon bag is a modern classic in the making, while the Margaux is a personal favourite that I can’t stop talking about. These pieces are not just accessories but investments in timeless elegance and sophistication, making them perfect for any occasion.
If we’re discussing splurge worthy fashion pieces, there are many. This Saint Laurent grey striped skirt suit, or simply a black structured blazer that’s a staple for everyone, right? I recently got these next pieces and highly recommend them. We can’t overlook the Bottega Veneta swimsuit with gold details, which I recently mentioned in a haul video. I’m planning to style it as a top as well, since it’s so elegant and it would be a shame to limit it to just the beach.
Magda Butrym dresses are also something we can’t forget. If you have a special occasion coming up, there’s no better place for your shopping. As for accessories, we have two pairs of sunglasses, Loewe ones that I often wear and are truly among my favourites, along with classic black Saint Laurent shades. In terms of jewellery I would like to highlight the Bottega earrings which are absolutely stunning, large gold Alaia earrings, perhaps you’ve seen them in my recent haul video(they also come in silver) , and look at these pearl drop earrings from Magda Butrym. I love pearls and am trying to get more pearl jewellery for the summer.
