Spotted at JFK, bags in hand: Tamara Kalinic. Was it only one season ago your girl was last seen here? February vibes really hit differently, when kicking off a very busy fashion month, in NY. After a long winter, it’s officially time for the storm of shows, again. As usual, I approached every look from a visionary angle, while still mirroring my personality. This time around, I made sure to start slow, living in the moment, and saving up energy for the busier schedules coming up next.
KHAITE
Let’s start off with the Khaite look, a perfect blend of sophistication and comfort. Their maxi skirt with a slit, flowing effortlessly with each step, paired with a crisp white cotton shirt adorned with sleek black buttons, both from their collection, along with their classic little black bag. Completing the ensemble with sleek silver Ferragamo heels. I love these heels as they are so cool yet so comfortable. A win is a win, right?

Proenza Schouler
Next up is my ensemble for Proenza Schouler. The entire outfit is from their SS24 collection that I was swooning over in September. I wore some wide-leg jeans, cinched with a rope-like belt. On the upper body, there was quite a bit of layering going on. Under my sheer black blouse, I had a white net tank top. A long black leather coat kept me warm, and I’ve paired it all with my new black Park bag, and heeled flip-flop mules. Many of you complained about the choice of shoes and truthfully I would have picked some pointy heels or loafers for the hard NY weather conditions, but I also felt that Sex and the City 90s vibe in NY, so I dont know, blame Carrie Bradshaw. What I love about this look are the edgy elements with a touch of sophistication, portraying a style that’s both eclectic and refined.

AREA
Transitioning to my AREA look, I embraced boldness and glamour. Their long black trousers, flaring at the bottom, paired with a matching cropped black blazer adorned with chic sequins, exuded sophistication with a hint of drama. Layered with a Saint Laurent striped blazer, Magda Butrym black heels, and a Ferragamo silver bag, I felt like I was stepping straight off the runway. Accessorised with Saint Laurent black leather gloves and oversized Gucci sunglasses, I added a touch of urbanity to the overall look, making a statement on the go. I suppose some are sick of oversized trend and we will slowly be leaving it behind, but I truly love it as I think it suits my personality and who I am in general.

The Gucci Boutique on Wooster Street just re opened and we were lucky to have a first glimpse of the refreshed look. I put on some baggy jeans, white shirt, and a the star of the look this Gucci Jackie Notte bag from the first Sabato De Sarno’s collection. I really love this Ancora rouge burgundy colour and its so refreshing for every outfit.

MYTHERESA EVENT
The Mytheresa cocktail took place in the evening of the day that I landed in NY, and after a 9-hour flight, I think I was doing pretty well. I quickly slipped into this incredible dress from Magda Butrym, and I wore my new Alaia bag, the unboxing of which you would’ve seen in my previous video. As for the shoes, I took out my current favourite Saint Laurent heels. Keeping me warm was this Saint Laurent coat.
