Is burgundy the new black?

 As I am sure that you all probably already noticed how much attention it’s getting, and why would’t, right? With its deep and rich red hue, it really stands as a timeless and versatile colour.

This year I am so into burgundy that I almost think it will be with me through out the summer, could that be possible? Ok we need to discuss more.

I like MAGDA BUTRYM ready to wear in every colour, so burgundy isnt the main point here, but truthfully that burgundy sequin dress lives rent free in my head ever since I wore it in Poland. I really love the Resort Collection too – so I bought the leather skirt and blazer, but when I saw the SS and PRE FALL all I can tell you is that I am dreaming of a gorgeous leather jacket you will see me sport soon.

As we speak about timelessness, of course we have to mention Chanel. This is something that is not only reserved for this season, but for all of them really. We are talking about Chanel Vanity Pouch, with its handy size and compactness, I don’t think you could ever really go wrong. This isnt the only Chanel bag in burgundy that I think is gorgeous, I really love the Classic Flap in this colour too, but are we even allowed to mention those now with the price increase? Ohhh, still hurts to think about it, but this colour is a big YES.

Let’s discuss the Medium Squeeze  LOEWE bag in burgundy. I still wear this bag a lot, and it’s a perfect ‘’slouchy’’ look bag – my obsession with it hasn’t subsided since the last season. This bag has been selling faster than you can imagine and it’s constantly hard to get hands on. Here you can see some other burgundy pieces I really liked from Chanel loafers, to LANVIN scarf.

I cannot finish this blog post without mentioning some incredibly IT items. Without a doubt one of the trendiest shoes this season – was the Miu Miu kitten heel. If you follow my  YouTube video , you probably saw a video in which I mentioned  that we are steering away from super high heels and reaching more to shorter kitten heels. And just one more if you allow – her majesty – Bottega Veneta Andiamo bag. It’s a bag that will definitely be even more popular in 2024, and I am already thinking about getting it in a few different colours and sizes – can you blame me though?
