My 5 Most Worn Shoes During Fashion Month

Fashion month usually means most fabulous shoes time – and even though I packed a lot of shoes and bags to each city there were a few that I wore over and over again. It is always interesting for me to see which items were my go-to each season, so I decided to make it a series for the blog. Today we will be talking about shoes, but rest assured bags will be our topic soon too. One thing to mention today is that no toes or feet were badly hurt for making of this blog post, simply because the older I am the better I am at choosing comfort AND style.

One thing is for sure – these shoes really take the cake. If I had to decide to only keep one pair with me it would be a hard tie between these and my Prada Mary Janes which have also been a favourite of mine for a good while now. When I first got these Bottega Veneta mules, I didn’t think I would wear them this much, but they really are the perfect shoe. Comfortable, easy, yet very stylish and modern. They go with everything – trousers, jeans, dresses, skirts, you name it. These are the “it girl” shoe of the season, and I can not wait to get them in another colour.

 Completely obsessing over this style of heel, loving the sharp, knife heel look. I did not think this colour would go with so many different outfits and colours but I have been wearing them a lot! Its sort of a mix of black and deep burgundy which is what makes them so versatile.I ve been loving them with a darker washed denim recently. Saint Laurent has also released the same style of shoe in a brown/beige and black colour and I may or may not have already gotten a sibling for this pair. The burgundy still remains the most worn for me.

By now you must already be sick of me telling you about these shoes and how they are the greatest thing ever but they really are. Now im searching for another pair – for both you and me because I need another fresh pair and you might need them too. There is not a single pair of heels in my wardrobe that is more comfortable than these, so if you are wearing heels on a day to day basis or are just beginning you heel obsession – these are the pair for you. I throw them on with any and every outfit as they are a true classic.

Jimmy Choo Saeda heels – no matter where I am travelling let me tell you, there is always a pair of Jimmy Choos with me. For fashion month particularly I like to bring the sparkly ones, as on nights out I put on a simple dress and it is a no brainer that these heels will spice up the outfit. Picture this – a basic white, beige, brown evening dress with a pair of Jimmy Choos – does it get any better than that? I wore these heels to the Chaumet event and a few other dinner night with friends which I did not manage to capture.

And last but never the least – Alaïa heart sandals, my absolute staple piece of 2023. Although I wore them mostly during the spring summer season, they have also been travelling with me through fashion month. When paired with an all white simple look, they give the outfit something special. I especially love pairing them with my Kelly Pochette in Vert Fizz, there is no better match then those two.
