NEW YORK FASHION WEEK LOOKS
Just like that, New York Fashion week has come to an end. This one seemed shorter than any other NYFW, but also more packed. Usually, these posts are only meant for looks from the fashion shows, but I got to wear some other amazing outfits this time around, and had to share them with you.
Let’s go over the schedule, show by show. First up was Proenza Schouler and somehow this is the third season in a row where I am wearing a white look. Absolutely loved the dress and styled it with a slightly unusual looking bag which added a lot of character. Before entering the show, Xenia and I run into each other and took some photos together.
After Proenza, there was only a few minutes to quickly change into the Tibi show look, and after that we rushed to the venue. There was an amazing outfit that I had picked from the brand, but I dont need to explain the New York shipping logistics so unfortunately it didn’t make it on time. Instead I wore jeans, white shirt, heels and the new Gucci horsebit bag – that is the talk of the town.
In the evening it was Khaite o’clock and thats the only show Filippo and I get to do together. The collection was really something special, there were a lot of different styles within the show, something for everyone, and I already know which pieces I will be getting next season. The khaki dress I wore was a sample, but its no leaving my mind ever since I wore it. So chic and timeless. The dress was paired with a studded bag from Khaite and Bottega Veneta mules – that seem will be the star of this fashion month.
Dion Lee was also on schedule that day, and this time at a very tough for someone suffering with jet lag – 10pm. I was getting a little bit tired by this point but the vibes inside the venue made it all go away. There were 3 looks to choose from for the show, and you can head to Instagram to check out my reel and let me know if you think I made the right decision.
The following day started with Adeam – another outfit I had to unfortunately completely change from what I was meant to be wearing because it didn’t fit correctly. The collection was amazing, there were these beautiful tulle pieces and ballerina performance too.
For the Area show I had two choices, one better than the other but as show took place in the early evening I opted for the black dress. I styled this fun party number with Saint Laurent blazer and my beloved metal Alaïa heart bag.
The long awaited Michael Kors show was everything I hoped for and more, we had a beautiful view of Manhattan, and Michael presented SS24 in this very whimsical way. I decided to go for a silver look matching dressy and casual vibes with the sparkly skirt and cotton ribbed tank top. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go for the black Christie bag or keep it all silver, but I decided to wear the Christie to the cocktail at the UN later that evening.
Last show – which is weird to say, as MK is always the last, but this time it was Altuzarra. We headed to the New York public library yet again and I opted for a black look from the brand. Wanted to give it a pop of colour so I wore one of my favourite bags this month – the Kelly Pochette in Vert Fizz.
Check out all of my show and “free time” looks, then let me know which was your favourite.
