My long awaited vacation is here – if you have been following my YouTube channel, you could have seen Filippo decided we should start it earlier than we initially planned, and I had about 2 days to prepare. To help me out, I decided to put together a packing list that divides into three categories – clothing, shoes & bags, accessories. After I finished packing I decided to share my packing list with you, as some of you might find it helpful, or even get inspired to order some last minute vacation bits.
I have been absolutely loving maxi dresses and long sleeved dresses for the beach, I think they bring a special kind of chicness to just put over you swimsuit or bikini. My favourites are the Peony white dress, Saint Laurent black dress and the Attire dress which I have in the yellow and black colour. Swimwear that I have been loving is of course Magda Butrym bikinis and one-pieces as well as some Gucci and Chanel, and this gorgeous Louisa Ballou one-piece.
For shoes I decided to bring some flats and some heels. For flats you can never go wrong with The Row Ginza sandal or a classic Chanel, and for heels, I basically packed a few pairs of Saint Laurent sandals and Alaia heels. Bags I like to keep simple, a few raffia beach bags – for example Saint Laurent and Loewe, some day bags in case we decide to spend a day in the city – my yellow Chanel classic flap, gold Mini Kelly, Gucci Raffia Marmont. For evenings I like to pack a nice Saint Laurent Clutch or two.
For accessories I go a little crazy – especially with sunglasses, I like to pack at least 10 pairs. I always like to switch up my jewellery on vacation, I’ve been loving my Van Cleef & Arpels 10 motif agate necklace, I think it brings a lot to any look. I also like to bring a few hats, my favourite brands for that being Miu Miu and Chanel.
