Gucci Seoul Cruise Show Looks

Back in Seoul, but this time with Gucci for their 2023 Cruise Show.

This trip was very special to me, as I got to spend so much time with my friends. I stayed at the Josun Palace and the day of my arrival we had a dinner at the Korean Furniture museum. Next day was a full day for me, and to be honest with you, the only thing that pushed me through it was a lot of coffee. From meeting old friends, to meeting my relatives who live in Seoul, visiting Korean markets and stores, getting a laser facial, it really was packed, but I am not complaining as I couldn’t have asked for a better day.

Last day in Seoul was probably my favourite. It started with us visisting the Changdeokgung Palace and Secret Garden. We then went on to have lunch at the Gucci Osteria, where even the food looked amazing, and after a bit of rest time it was time for the Cruise Show.

The Show was held at the ceremonial courtyard of 14th century Gyeongbokgung Palace. In typical Gucci tradition, the clothing, fabrics, and techniques were switched and deconstructed to create a hybrid of styles, which is reflected in the items’ unusual silhouettes and transformational detailing. The Gucci Cruise 2024 collection is an example of the lovely relationship between the House and South Korea, drawing inspiration from both traditional local clothing and modern techniques.
