PFW – My Paris Outfits

PARIS FASHION WEEK

And we came to the end of the fashion marathon. Paris freezing weather and packed schedule has taken a toll, as I got really sick on the last day. But now that I’m getting better and better I really loved preparing this blog post, as it reminded me of all the beautiful shows and collections we have seen.

If you haven’t already, check out my Paris Fashion Week Vlog, to see more behind the scenes and stay tuned for some home cosy vlogs, now that the chaos is over – for a few days at least.

SAINT LAURENT

My first show of PFW was Saint Laurent, and as it is easily one of my 3 favourite brands, I was very much excited. I don’t usually do this as there are shows back to back, but I had the chance to arrive at the show a bit early and I really got to appreciate the amazing venue – which this time, for the first time in a while, did not have an Eiffel Tower view, but at least no one was freezing cold.

For my look, I chose a beautiful black leather maxi coat from the SS23 collection, which I layered on top of a sheer blouse and black tuxedo. Paired the look with platform heels, to have as much height as possible and finished off the look with long leather gloves for extra warmth and an even cooler vibe.

I really wanted to go for a powerful look, and as much as I love love love the sheer dresses from SS23 and will be rocking them for sure, I didnt want to have a sexy vibe for the show itself. Though if you ask me, nothing is sexier than the power look.

OFF - WHITE

Matrix vibe at the Off-White show. Again an all black look, which seemed to be an ongoing theme at Paris Fashion Week. I paired this simple but elevated black dress with some holes as details, with a black leather coat from the men’s collection. I wore black boots with a very interesting heel, and a classic Off-White bag, that is a classic for the brand.

Overall i loved my look so much I ended up wearing the coat to other shows too. I mean its black, its classic and so chic. Did I mention its from the men’s collection?

GIVENCHY

My first ever Givenchy show was spectacular. From running into my friend Xenia right when I exited the car, to being given some ginger shots at the entrance of the show – Givenchy knew everyone was slowly but surely running out of that fashion month energy.

I paired this mini black dress with a simple blazer, and added my Shark Lock boots, that have recently made a comeback, as I can remember wearing them a long time ago. I love the direction Givenchy has taken, edgy and cool with a touch of sexiness.

HERMES

When you can’t decide between a Mini Kelly and a Birkin 25 – you pick both.

My Hermes look was very casual, with burgundy trousers, their best selling tank top and my black Hermes Kelly loafers, that is why I decided to spice up the look with a double bag moment. Which one do you prefer?

This look for SS23 is very casual but somehow when things came together it screamed Hermès. I love the way their collections are coming and this AW23 was perhaps my favourite Hermès collection ever.

STELLA MCCARTNEY

These Stella McCartney pants are very high on my wishlist once they are out. At the moment I only managed to enjoy this showroom sample for few hours. In the theme of simple, classic but elevated, the denim with coated denim detailing gives it a very cool look. Stella is known for her amazing coats, which I have a few of in my wardrobe, and this one is no different. I paired the look with a simple white tank top and some studded sandals. In freezing cold all I could think is that i dont want to return the coat back to the brand. Its the most perfect black piece everyone needs in their wardrobe

VALENTINO

My second time wearing a Valentino cape – the first time was a red dress in Doha, and I have to admit it gives you some kind of a powerful feeling. Paired with the clear platform heels, a nude bag with some sparkles and I have to say I also loved the sunglasses in the same shade.

Judging by the instagram comments you guys loved this look more than any other, and I agree, its the mix of luscious material iand shade that perfectly complemented my skin tone. There is also something about these platforms, they are so edgy but chic not sure how that combination works, but Valentino makes no mistake

LOUIS VUITTON

I wore cargo pants and a crop top for the Louis Vuitton show that was held at Musee d’Orsay this year instead of the usual location that is Louvre. Saying that, its not my first time attending LV show in d’Orsay either. I paired the cargos with my new Louis Vuitton bag and some simple heels.

I think the top really stole the show. Little sparkly details on shoulder straps caught my eye in the showroom and I just had to wear it. The Soft Trunk was a gift from LV and I will wear it non stop. Love it so much

MIU MIU

As we could have seen on the runway this season – the Miu Miu shorts are only getting shorter. But rest assured the cosy look is back too and I think there will be something for everyone. I picked a mini skirt from the SS23 collection to wear to the show, but I wanted to keep it a little bit covered up with a longer coat. The look came with a bralette top, so this added visually great balance as it seemed more weather appropriate.
