Designer Like Basics For Less

Perhaps one of my most asked question is what are my more affordable pieces I would recommend, so I decided to dedicate a post to that topic. I did the same selection last year, and it was very popular, so I did a selection this year. In this post you will see my favourite high street brands and pieces from them. I wanted to include mainly basics, and pieces that look similar to those really expensive ones I wear all the time. That way we covered best of the best for every pocket.

H&M is my go-to brand for cashmere loungewear, but they have a great selection of premium items that look very expensive and are amazing quality, but will not break the bank. I love their dresses, colourful knits and they even have some shearling like jackets.

Below is my selection of current best H&M pieces. They currently have 20% off of selected Black Friday pieces, so make sure you take advantage of the deal.

My H&M Selection

Mango surprises me every time with their interesting designs and wide selection of clothing for different styles. They did really chic dresses, some incredible shoes and my favourite of all was a full length shearling coat. I love the length and the vibe of it. The other favourite I found was a cable knit sweater with tiny pearls that are chic and really different. I also love their dress selection and found a gorgeous black number with feathers. Great quality and design.

At the moment you can find some amazing Black Friday deals on Mango.

My MANGO Selection

Pixie Market might be one of my favourite high street brands for basic pieces. A lot of the times the designs remind me of pieces from luxury designers, but still made in a way they are unique. What I love about Pixie Market is that you can find really different stuff there, I don’t go to them for classic white shirts but for pieces that stand out and don’t cost too much.

Those more quirky pieces shouldn’t be paid too much as technically you don’t know how often you can wear them – but their quality tells a different story. Great quality for a good price, what more can we ask for?

Off The Shoulder Top

All Saints is definitely more expensive than the other brands, but I honestly believe the price is equal to the quality of the pieces. They do amazing shearling jackets, coats and oh can we discuss the knitwear?

Every season I buy cashmere turtlenecks from All Saints and this Black Friday you can find them discounted 30%. In fact the whole website is on 30% off so do go and check them out.

COS is the brand for all those instagram cool girls. It offers an array of classic basics that are well tailored, made consciously and of good materials. I love their trousers, cashmere knits and dresses.

If I could pick a designer brand that is the most similar to COS it would be The Row. I know a huge statement from someone like me, but you have to check it out and I am sure you will agree.

COS is also doing great sales this Black Friday, so go and make the most out of it. Stock up on cashmere socks and gorgeous knits.

Candles, Pyjamas, Socks and all things that make winter so much better. White company is my go to store for all thing cosy. I love stocking up on their winter scents and candles, as well as their silk and cotton pyjamas. They have a great selection of all home scents, home decor and my absolute favourite scent is called Winter.

This season I got a gorgeous blue two piece pyjama that I can’t wait to wear (as soon as its washed), its that amazing feeling after you jump out of shower and into brand new, freshly washed PJs.

I love Mango. Other brands aren’t available here in Serbia and I’m afraid to order online due to the different sizes.
