After a long summer filled with sun, sand, saltwater and work, it was time to switch my wardrobe and elevate my collection of fashion staples altogether. I get incredibly excited for the fall and associate it not just with change of seasons but make certain personal changes. I reflect, schedule and implement new personal and team goals but more relevantly to this post, I clear my wardrobe of summer pieces and introduce new staple as well as trend-forward fall pieces. I want to share with you my choice of staple items- some old, some new and some on my wish list that are foundation of my wardrobe. I think basics are the most important in one’s wardrobe. Pieces you wear over and over again such as that cashmere turtleneck, white t shirt or a pair of trousers that you throw on even on a day you “have nothing to wear”.
