GRATITUDE AND MOTIVATION THIS YEAR WILL FIND ME TURNING MY DREAMS INTO REALITY
As you guys know, I deeply believe in the transformative power of The Law of Attraction, and 100% feel that the life I am currently living (and I feel so grateful for) is the result of my own thoughts, the energy behind them and of course endless hours of hard work. I recently rediscovered my love for writing but more importantly for sharing with you my personal journey of discovering how far my dreams and goals can take me. Determined and positive, truth is I feel closer to you guys than ever before. Driven by your amazing and constant support, I am more focused than ever in creating an online platform that every dreamer can turn into for inspiration, advice and positive thinking. You probably have noticed that I am discussing really personal stories, and trying to show you my life as it is, in an unfiltered manner.
Reading all your comments and feedback during Vlogmas has been by far the most rewarding part of my work and as we are coming to the end of the decade, I could not express enough how thankful I am for you guys. My wish this year is to follow my vision and create content that will focus on taking care of ourselves. This might be a dazzling designer purchase, a new exciting book or a once in a life experience.
In this blog post, I am sharing five things I want to focus on this year and hopefully we can start this year together, inspired and excited to learn new skills. 2020, I am so ready for you!
WORKING ON MY POSTURE
This year, I need to nail it. Working from home can be an amazing luxury, but being in front of a laptop for more than nine hours per day, has left it’s mark on my posture. For me, it is more than looking good, but most importantly a forever goodbye to muscle pain and stress in the back.
I have suffered with back issues since I was a child and decided to wave those issues goodbye in 2020. The main problem are week back muscles. Ok, you got it, I work out mainly on my legs, abs and gluten when in the gym, but think I desperately need to add the back work out to those. No more slouching for me by the end of 2020.
BALANCING WORK-LIFE BETTER
I think I’m pretty good at this one. I love waking up early in the morning and the feeling of accomplishment before 8.00 am when I cleared my inbox is priceless. That is when I feel the most productive and focused, my mind is sharp and nothing is difficult. As my team is getting bigger and my responsibilities are increasing, I need to find new ways to manage my time. I am currently reading a lot about productivity and time management and I am preparing an exciting and helpful post on the blog soon, so stay tuned. In 2020 I’m introducing a new rule – No work in the bedroom. That place is only for myself, reading and dreaming.
TAKING ON ANOTHER HOBBY, FOCUSING ON SPANISH
If you know me well, you probably now that I love change. I am not afraid to experiment with different styles, start a new hobby, and change my routine. One of the reasons I love my job so much, is the opportunity to explore new cultures and understand the world better. Being able to communicate in different languages is one of my favourite things, and this year I am committed to focus not only on my Spanish but also learn a new language (I am thinking about Mandarin, what you guys think?).
TRAVELLING WITH MY FAMILY MORE
The support of my family is the most important thing in the world. I truly owe everything that I have today to my parents and my sister and they are the reason behind every personal and professional success. Their unconditional love and understanding on my hectic schedule and busy routine made me realize that this year I want to prioritize them. I mean, work is work, but finding the time to travel with them more and share new experiences with them is something that I definitely want to do in the new decade. I mean, who would not want to travel the world with their best friend, and my best friend is my sister.
