Favouirte High Street Autumn Jacket

CHANGING SEASONS

I know that summer is over and that many people are sad about this. The truth is that I am super excited about the upcoming season, and that the only reason I could be sad about colder period is the fact that days are going to be shorter. I am not a fan of that because I get less productive, considering its already dark at 4pm and I find it harder to get up early in the morning.

That being sad, autumn is my favourite season for fashion, all of those boots, trench coats, scarfs, beanies, cute knits and caramel pecan lattes. I mean the last one isnt really fashion but its oh so so important for me loving autumn. You get me right? I am slowly now transitioning my wardrobe, putting all the summer dresses away, organising the footwear, planning the purchases and colour scheme I will stick to this season. Towards the end of summer I went to Barcelona, which slowly gave away that the warmest season of the year is almost gone, because the evenings were colder. I found myself gabbing constantly for few transitional pieces that I wanted to blog about. Maybe autumn must have pieces post is due as well?? Let me know what you guys think.

Barcelona is my favourite at any time of the year, and I really highly recommend it if you havent been. There are way too many beautiful places for culture, art and architecture lovers, as you can find a sea of Picasso, Miro and most famous work of Gaudi there. On top of that my favouite Dali museum is not too fa away either. If perhaps you are moe into the likes of fashion, the shopping and the styling in Spain is just incredible, so so inspiring and colourful. Just how I love it. Forr those food lovers, you will be in heaven. No matte what you love you will find it in Barcelona. Lets talk about my outfit now.

TOTAL LOOK

I think I told this story so many times before, but the first eve designer piece I bought with my own money was a Louis Vuitton Neverful bag in MM. I still have it and love it, and its probably a bag that I will never get rid of. I remember walking in the Louis Vuitton boutique on Passeig de Gracia thinking “Wow, look at this place, its like a museum, but for fashion”. I still feel the same whenever I walk into a Louis Vuitton boutique, maybe because they are full of covetable pieces of art, the ones that truly belong in a museum. Since I followed the brand’s work for many many years I must say that it felt extremely special to be back in Barcelona to shoot Louis Vuitton looks, as the city will always have that special connection for me. Its like a full circle. Something I dreamt about less than 10 years ago now became a part of my job, thanks to yeas of nurturing the love and passion.

As you can see in this post, I am wearing some of my favourite Louis Vuitton pieces. The incredible Twist bag and the sandals with a monogram print. I don’t think it can get much better? I decided to style the pieces with effortless denim, and that is also what you can see in this post. The jacket which I found online is simply one of the best purchases this early autumn. I love the padded shoulders, and the price tag totally justified the trend. I have to give all the credits to Kristina, part of my team, who came to one of our meetings wearing it, and then kindly shared the link with me. Oh hey, its the item I grabbed more than 20 times in the past month, particularly because its a denim jacket but with a twist, which made it more fashion and less Coachella after dark.

As I am super into transitional pieces now, I also linked below some of my fave jackets for this time of the year. Excited to hear what you guys think.
