Autumn Outfit in Saint-Tropez

Warm Autumn Light

I have never been to Saint-Tropez in autumn, in fact I’ve only ever visited during the peak summer months. One thing I have to admit is that the city looks completely different but for some reason I possibly love it even more. The weather is still beautiful and the town looks very peaceful covered in that warm autumnal light. The pink houses and pastel tones look even prettier than in the busy summer days.

October is a month of fun trips and events and I was lucky enough to be invited by Clarins team to visit South of France with some of my absolute best blogger friends. We spent couple of days enjoying the weather, the city and the full diary from the trip is coming soon to the blog. We also had a chance to see the new Clarins Summer collection, but you will hear about that a little bit later. I had to use the opportunity to shoot my outfit, as Saint-Tropez is just a perfectly picturesque place. You guys need to let me know if you disagree.

Since the weather is still warm enough but its not too hot, I wanted to show you few more transitional pieces that I thought are simple enough but will take you all the way to the winter period. Where else would I shoot it than by these stunning pink houses in the main square of this pretty French town. As always I am curious to hear your thoughts about the location as well as about the first real autumn days. Who else is excited about this season? Now lets talk about my fashion choices.

Few Staples

I spoke to you about these new Chanel military boots in my latest video, as they are definitely one of my biggest autumn staples. I love how chunky and androgynous they are, as with them I can bring down my feminine styling. They are very different to anything else I have in my wardrobe, and I dont need to even mention the comfort – they simply tick all the boxes.

You might also remember this cashmere cardigan from N.Peal as I wore it a lot last winter and autumn. It had to be included in my staples since I wear it under waistcoats, under jackets, coats, and on its own too, with jeans, dresses and skirts. Its just so useful because the colour is neutral, and the quality of cashmere keeps me so warm. I think a good cardigan is something evreybody needs in the next months.

Talking about staples in the last few months I invested in simple t-shirts that can be used for layering. This white one is fairly simple but is made of softest cotton and somehow goes with many outfits. Its also great for travelling, as sometimes weather is so unpredictable. The one in todays post is my absolute favourite and I use it for sleeping, travelling, working, looking casual, looking dressed up and its a classic item, just like any other white t shirt.

Today you can, for the first time ever see me wearing this Gucci skirt with the cutest embroidery, I found it on mytheresa.com and I thought it could be so cute for layering even with knits and over the knee boots, specially in beige colour. What do you think? I just love how flattering it is, because of the A shape which suits my body shape the most. The last to mention – but probably my favourite are the accessories.  Chloe Nile bag in burgundy will be fab for autumn, and the cat eye sunglasses are one of my most worn I have. Super curious to hear your thoughts about the entire look!
