WILD AND FREE
For one moment I felt like I was on African continent. The heath felt good on my skin, but it was dry and almost unavoidable. Its the climate that I wasn’t used to living in Western Europe. If I can call it Europe still following the current affairs happening in this part of the world.
The nature was special, fields and fields of cacti, exotic flowers, shrubs, and the view. You know the view was much better than the one from my office where the highlight of the day is usually seeing my neighbour being chased by his own dog. Fun, but not as pretty. Greece inspired me to dress up, to use the moment and to enjoy it to the max. I hope you like these few shots in which I tried to transfer the mood of the day to your home.
Na trenutak sam pomisliila da sam negde u Africi. Vrelo sunce je przilo u bilo koje doba dana, ali je bilo nekako suvo i neizbezno. To je klima na koju nisam navikla u Zapadnoj Evropi. Ako ovo gde zivim mogu nazvati Evropom s obzirom na skorasnje dogadjaje.
Priroda je ovde posebna, polja i polja kaktusa, egzoticno cvece, grmovi i pogled. Znate ovaj pogled je mnogo bolji od onog na koji sam navikla iz moje kancelarije koji je prilicno dosadan, osim kada vidim kako komsiju juri njegov sopstveni pas. Zabav pogled, ali nista u poredjenju na ovo. Grcka me je inspirisala na mnogo razlicitih nacina, uzivala sam u sredjivanju svako vece, kao sto ste mogli videti u mom videu. Nadam se da vam se dopadaju ove fotografije, zelela sam da se osecate kao da ste sa mnom na Kritu.
ABOUT THE OUTFIT
Sometimes I start with the dress, sometimes with the shoes, but in reality I can’t tell you how I come up with my outfits. There is so much to it. My mood, weather, practicality, functionality, dress code, everything. I am not the person that calls friends around asking what they are wearing, because never the less I always rely on my personal instinct. If everyone else wants to wear jeans, but I feel like a dress, trust me, nothing will change my mind.
I knew I wanted to bring my new Mini C De Cartier bag which was gracing the top of the makeup table. This bag is a perfect size, has a shoulder strap and I love this colour for the summer. It was a tough choice deciding between the neutral beige and yellow, but I am so happy with my decision. Who says neutrals always mean more wear, I already wore this bag more than 5 times in less than a month.
The girly embellished Needle & Thread dress that was laying over the chair was a perfect match and thats how the story started. Heels or flats is always a question, something that I feel was totally overseen by Shakespeare when he was writing Hamlet, as it was replaced by much less relevant “To be or no to be”. I guess you already know that I opted for these yellow Gordon Dimitrijevic Sandals, which have a high, but comfy heel.
The look was complete, I didn’t want to add anything else, apart from a lip stick and shimmery eye shadow. The look was done, and I hope you like it. I know I keep saying it so often, but I really felt like a princess in the field of Cacti.
Ponekad pocnem od haljine, ponekad od cipela, ali u stvarnosti vam ne mogu reci kako odlucim sta cu da obucem. Razmisljam o toliko toga. Raspolozenje, vreme, prakticnost, funkcionalnost, izgled, samo neki su od faktora koje uzimam u obzir kada biram kombinaciju. Nisam osoba koja zove redom drugarice i pita sta one nose kako bih se odlucila, jer se uvek oslanjam na licni instinkt. Zasto bih ih zvala kada znam da cak i ako svih pet nose farmerice, ja cu i dalje obuci haljinu ako mi se nosi.
Znala sam da zelim poneti novu Mini C De Cartier torbu koja je ukasavala vrh mog stola za sminkanje. Ova torba je savrsene velicine, ima kais za rame, a boja joj je fantasticna. Nisam se mogla odluciti izmedju neutralne boje i ove, ali mislim da sam dobro odlucila jer sam je vec nosila vise od 5 puta u mesec dana.
Ova zenstvena, maxi, Needle & Thread haljina ukrasena je brojnim sljokicama, kristalima i perlicama. Ona je bila savrsena za nastavak price. Stikle ili ravne cipele, to je uvek moje pitanje. Nesto na sta je Sekspir totalno zaboravio kada je pisao Hamlet, jer je ovo pitanje zamenio mnogo manje bitnim “Biti ili ne biti”. Sigurna sam da ste vec ugledali zute stikle moje drage Gordane Dimitrijevic, koje su visoke ali i izuzetno udobne.
Tada je kombinacija bila kompletna, nisam nista vise dodala, osim sedefaste senkice i karmina. Nadam se da vam se kombinacija dopada. Svestna sam da ovo cesto kazem, ali sam se zaista osecala kao princeza u polju kaktusa.
