EASY WAY TO CONTOUR

ITS ALL ABOUT THAT FACE

I was scrolling down my explore page on Instagram yesterday, and noticed that it was full of 30 second sculpting videos that involved around 16 different products. Every time I tried to achieve the same look, I would end up looking orange or dirty. Hmm, what is the secret I kept thinking? My makeup skills are pretty solid, so why is it so hard?
Sculpting, baking, strobing, highlighting.  All of these concepts were either demanding time, skill or money for the product.  Either way, at the end I would have too much heavy product on my face, and those tutorials just wouldn’t work for my lifestyle. Today,I decided to show you my easy, every day contoured look using only one product – The Kate Sculpting Palette by Rimmel.

1.BARE FACE

3.ADD BLUSH

2.ADD CONTOUR

4.ADD HIGHLIGHT

5.BLEND IT ALL IN!!

FINAL RESULT

THE PROCESS

As you can see, it’s a 4 step progress. Apply the bronzy colour to the cheek hollows and to the top of your forehead. Apply a bit of blush to the cheekbones, add some high lighter to the top of your nose, cupid’s bow and on the upper most part of the cheek.
Now blend it all in very well. Done! This takes me around 5 minutes, and after I add a bit of mascara I am ready to go out. I love multi purpose products because they are perfect for traveling or touch-ups during the day. What are your favourite contouring products? Please share any secrets you might have with me, I am always willing to try new stuff!

I absolutely agree with you … it seems like you have a bunch of product on your face and a LOT of times looks like dirt …

I use exactly the same technique Tamara – isn’t it foolproof!!! I’m currently loving the Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In a Palette for daywear & it’s got a huge mirror for touch ups n the go!
    Hugs Adele xoxo

Beautiful! Just discovered your channel and blog and I’m hooked. Your taste is impeccable and your skin is always so glowy. I tend to stay clear from the Instagram contouring as I think it’s just too heavy on my skin. This looks so natural and pretty. Love the blush in particular!

Must say I’ve been disappointed by your (un)originality recently. First we see these repetitive posts with the same theme and product that we saw with OhhCouture and almost the same video as by Zorannah; and then your outfits seem more a Gucci campaign (which we love but it’s not the purpose of blogging) than a inspirational combo. Think you did better and you could do better with some innovation and varieties :)

Hey Tamara! I ve been regular and avid follower and must add that this is really not true. I first of all talking about this post have never seen a blogger incorporate so much though into design of a post, with gifs and really nice structures. Second I love OhhCouture and you and think you are VERY Different. That third blogger I never heard of, but I think what Annie wrote is pure jealousy. Keep rocking and bringing us all those Gucci fab inspirations. Love you!
