Monday in New York for the fashion week usually means anticipation of the Tommy Hilfiger show. I am always so excited to see what he prepared for us, as for Tommy fashion shows don’t mean getting a boring runway space in Chelsea and playing it cool. Every season we are in for a surprise, and this time runway was turned into most football pitch with incredible atmosphere. Read about it below this post. For another cold day in New York I picked this midi Roksanda Ilincic dress, layered it up a little bit and kept warm in this Maje leather jacket which is so fabulous because it has a knit inside, so keeps you much warmer than any other leather piece. It is my fifth season of NYFW and I must say that sometimes it really hits me how time flies, but how much i learned in the past two years. Waking up in this city, going to the fashion shows, meetings, presentations, cocktail parties became a regular part of my life. Nothing unusual, but something I am immensely grateful for. Ponedeljak u Njujorku povodom nedelje mode podrazumeva Tommy Hilfiger reviju. Uvek sam toliko uzbudjena da vidim sta je pripremio za nas, jer njegove revije ne podrazumevaju dosadne sale u Celziju. Svake sezone do sada iznenadio nas je drugom temom, a ovaj put pista se pretvorila u fudbalski teren sa neverovatnom atmosferom. Procitajte vise o kolekciji ispod ovog posta. Maje kozna jakna me je pogotovo grejala jer je unutra postavljena vunom, tako da je mnogo toplija od bilo kojeg drugog koznog komada. Ovo je moja peta sezona kako pokrivam NYFW i moram priznati da sam tek sada shvatila koliko vreme leti i koliko sam toga naucila u poslednje dve godine. Budjenje u ovom gradu, odlasci na revije, na industrijske dogadjaje, sastanke, prezentacije, koktel zabave, sve je to postalo normalno u mom zivotu. Sport crossbreed with love story vibe was all over the catwalk, as the models walked out in camel, burgundy, navy and winter whites. Tommy said that he was always inspired by American football, and you can see that in bomber jackets, pleat skirts and varsity sweaters. My favourite piece? Football lace boots, white culottes and a cape with varsity feel. Too many pieces that I want hanging in my wardrobe right now.
