Hello my lovely gorgeous people! Its pretty early in New York, and I am just about to jump out of bed and jump into -16 temperature as I am heading to Tommy Hilfiger show. For todays Monday Confessions I wanted to talk about a topic that always gets a lot of attention- social media.
In 21st century social media brings influence. Press officers make reports which include instagram photos and bloggers make money by tweeting. Today I wanted to discuss with you how to grow your social media following. You might want to do that not only to help your business but also to increase awareness about your blog and get more readers.
I am going to start by breaking the illusion first, there is no magic tip. Nothing that you do will bring you thousands and thousands of followers over night. There is no secret trick that just you don’t know bout, market is saturated with social media influencers, so that growing process takes longer, and its really hard to stand out no matter how beautiful your photos and how witty your tweets are.
1.My number one tip is going to be consistency. Don’t let weeks past between your tweets, people want to see what are you up to, and if you are not regular not only that no new people will find you, but you also will get unfollowed. Overcasting is also a big problem, I have a lot of friends who tell me that they unfollow people who over post. Try to find a balance of 2-5 updates per day and stick to it.
2.Provide information to your audience. If you are running a fashion news account, you might want to give your readers latest updates from the fashion world promptly. This gives you authority, and your followers will know where to look for the latest news on their topic of interest. If humour is what your twitter is about, don’t write about school systems in the world, but make sure your jokes are funny and authentic. This brings retweets, comments and likes, and more engagement you have the more you will grow.
3.Entertainment value is really important. Even if you write about something very dry that provides a lot of information and is valuable, you still might want to add a bit of humour, or something that would make your account stand out. Don’t be afraid to be different and entertain your followers.
4.Be responsive. Replying to your followers and having a conversation with them always helps. Lately I have been chatting A LOT to my followers on snapchat (tamarakalinic), and they are giving me all sorts of feedback and are more engaged on my other channels. Sometimes it can be hard to engage in conversation with everyone, but it if you give 2 hours a week to reply to some comments, tweets and messages your readers will come back and comments more.
5.Optimize your posts. This means keywords. If you are spending time to write about a topic, make sure that all the keywords are included, so that people who google it can easily find your accounts. This helps a lot with increasing followership.
6.Hashtags were mentioned before on this website. Make sure to use all the relevant ones, like the keywords, but do not overuse them, as then it looks spammy and desperate.
7.Create a plan and stick to it. Make a plan how you want to achieve that and goals in net few months/years. Write down what you think is working and what isn’t and stick to that. Observing your stats and listening to your readers always helps with growing a business but also social media.

At the end of the day success and achievement is always what comes after working hard, so don’t forget that nothing just comes your way and there is definitely not a secret trick that would help you get millions of followers in a day. Cao dragi moji ljudi! Prilicno je rano u Njujorku a ja se spremam da iskocim iz kreveta i uskocim u tempo na -16 stepeni cenlzijusa. Prvo na rasporedu imam Tommy Hilfiger reviju, ali sam ipak zelela da ispred toga ubacim ispovesti ponedeljkom i pricam o temi koja vas sve zanima- drustvenim mrezama.
U 21 veku drustvene mreze donose uticaj. Marketinski eksperti i sluzbenici za odnose sa javnoscu redovno pisu izvestaje svojim klijentima u koje sada spadaju i tvitovi i instagram slike. Osim toga, mnogo uticajnih blogera zaradjuje novce upravo koristeci se drustvenim mrezama. Danas sam zelela da razgovaram sa vama o tome kako steci sto veci broj pratioca na drustvenim mrezama, jer bi to moglo pomoci vasem poslu ali i povecati svest o vasem sajtu i samim tim doneti bolje prihode.
Pocecu tako sto zelim prvo da vam razbijem jednu zabludu. Ne postoji carobni savet. Ne mozete uraditi ama bas nista sto ce vam doneti milione pa ni hiljade pratioca preko noci. Nema tajnog trika koji samo vi ne znate. Market je prilicno zasicen sto znaci da je steci pratioce danas eze nego juce, ali da ukoliko doprinesete sa kvalitetnim fotografijama i zanimljivim tekstovima, citatelji ce uvek zeleti jos.
1.Moj broj jedan savet bi bio redovnost. Ne dozvolite da prodju nedelje izmedju vasi tvitova, ljudi zele da vide novosti, zato budite redovni ne samo da bi vas novi ljudi pronasli vec i da bi stari pratioci ostali lojalni. Previse postovanja takodje nije dobro, zato probajte da izbalansirate svoje postove i nadjete neku zlatnu sredinu od 2-5 postova dnevno.
2.Pruzite informaciju koju ne mogu svugde naci. Ako vodite modni nalog, ppisite o novostima u industriji budite informisani i azurni. Ovo vam daje autoritet i vasi pratioci ce znati gde da potraze informacije koje ih zanimaju. Ako se bavite komedijom, nemojte pisati o dosadnim temama, vec se pobrinite da vase sale budu originalne i sveze. Ovo donosi mnogobrojne lajkove, komentare a tako i pomaze vasem glasu da putuje dalje.
3.Ne zaboravite vrednost zabave. Cak i ako pisete o nekim suvoparnim temama koja donosi mnoge informacije, morate je uciniti zabavnom kako bi citatelji dosli opet. Dodajte malo humora, nasalite se i pomozit svojim drustvenim mrezama da budu drugacije. Nemojte se bojati da budete drugaciji i zabavite svoje citatelje.
4.Odgovarajte vasim citateljima, razgovori uvek pomazu. U poslednje vreme MNOGO razgovaram sa svojim citateljima putem snapchat-a (tamarakalinic), a tamo mi daju razne komentare i podrsku. Ponekad je mnogo tesko osgovoriti svima, jer sam ja jedna a vas je mnogo, ali ako 2 sata nedeljno ulozite u komunikaciju sa citateljima, odgovorite na tvitove i komentare, ovo ce znatno povecati njihov doprinos.
5.Optimizacija postova je jos jedna bitna stvar. Ovo podrazumeva kljucne reci. Ako provodite mnogo vremena pisuci o temi, onda iskoristite u tvitovima sve kljucne reci, kako bi vas citatelji pronasli putem pretrazivaca. Ovo mnogo pomaze i pridonosi rastu pratioca.
6.Hashtagovi su vec spominjani na mom blogu. Uvek koristite one koji su znacajni, ali nemojte se previse opterecivati njima, jer to moze izgledati kao spamovanje ili ocajnicki potez za pratiocima.
7.Napravite plan i drzite ga se. Napisite sta zelite da postignete i kako nameravate to da ucinite. Koji su vasi ciljevi za narednih par meseci/godina. Kada nesto upali zapisite i drzite se toga. Posmatranje statistike i odgovora koji dobijate za odredjene aktivnosti je veoma bitan u razvicu posla ali i drustvenih mreza.
Nadam se da su vam ovi saveti pomogli i da ce vas inspirisati da radite mnogo ka onome sto zelite da postignete. Kljucne reci prethodne recenice? Raditi mnogo -> postignuce. Na kraju krajeva bilo koji uspeh dolazi nakon mnogo rada iposvecenosti, zato ne zaboravite da nissta ne dolazi samo od sebe i da ne postoji tajna koja ce vam olaksati sav ovaj posao.
