Italy is a country really close to my heart. One of my favourite childhood memories is a trip to Rome, with my family where we did a huge shopping just pree before I started school. I also remember my mum frequently going to Italy and bringing me all sort of stuff, including my favourite sweets, and Kinder Surprise which I love so much. Now that you know about this crucial factor in developing love for fashion, you can imagine how much I loved spending few days in country of my favourite fashion and carbs for Milan Fashion Week.
On the first day of MFW I specially liked shows by Byblos, Fay, Frankie Morello, but its really hard not to mention Gucci and Fausto Puglisi.
Fashion Week in Milan is something completely different to New York and London. My friend Gilda was telling me about this, but I couldnt actually understand it until I saw it. Streets are full of people that are immaculately dressed, with latest IT items, who carry themselves appropriately, and have a certain hair and makeup look that follows the lifestyle. I was amazed by the amount of photographers and beautiful show venues. Food in Milan is another story, I strongly recommend a restaurant Cantina della Vetra which is where our Milanese friends took us for the first dinner. If you are a fan of good food and good vine, you dont want to miss this one. The first full day of shows I wore a monochrome look, black and white combo, that is unusual for me, as I am such a huge colour lover. However I must admit I felt amazing wearing this outfit. I particularly love the Wallis waistcoat without which this look would not be the same. Chanel bag and a tweed skirt give the look touch of elegance, just like the hat and the knee high boots balance it out for a more trendy outcome.
Prvi dan MFW-a su mi se posebno dopale kolekcije Byblos, Fay, Frankie Morello, but its really hard not to mention Gucci and Fausto Puglisi.
Chanel torba i suknja od tvida daju outfitu neophodnu eleganciju, a sesir i cizme do kolena balansiraju look i daju mu trendi notu.
