Press Days

Its a common misconception that personal style bloggers only take photos of themselves, upload them on internet and have no other tasks to do. In fact there is so much around blogging, that sometimes it feels like you need more than 70 hours weekly to invest in blogging in order to be able to do it all.
Well one of those things are press days which are always fun, and a really important part of the job as we get to see new trends, and collections before anyone else, so that we can tell you, our readers about them and be able to inform you about what to wear sometimes even before magazines, as magazines take longer to publish. This post is gonna be quite a long one, rich with photos, as I selected my favourite bits from SS14 of Reiss, Guess, Tory Burch, Alexander Wang, Balmain, 3.1Phillip Lim, Proenza Schouler, Chloe, Rebecca Minkoff, Preen, Giles, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton… A long post with my favourite pieces, must haves and trends for that SS14 which is coming very soon, so who’s ready?

Cesta pogresna pretpostavka jeste da modni blogeri ne rade nista drugo, osim sto se slikaju, postavljaju slike na internet i uzivaju ostatak vremena. Zapravo postavljanje novog posta svakodnevno nije ni deseti deo poslova koji se kriju iza ovog posla, da mi se ponekad cini kako 70 sati koje nedeljno ulozim u ovo nisu dovoljni. Obilazak PR kompanija i dogadjaja za blogere i novinare su svakodnevnica, koji su srecom jako zabavni ali i izuzetno vazni, jer nam omogucavaju da vidmo kolekcije pre ostalih i vama prenesemo najnovije trendove cak pre nego sto to casopisi urade. Ovaj post ce biti prilicno dugacak, jer sam odabrala par omiljenih slika sa obilazaka SS14 kolekcija brendova: Reiss, Guess, Tory Burch, Alexander Wang, Balmain, 3.1Phillip Lim, Proenza Schouler, Chloe,  Rebecca Minkoff, Preen, Giles, Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton…

At Louis Vuitton SS14 press day

Louis Vuitton SS14 was special to me, as it was the last collection that Marc Jacobs designed. Very extravagant collection that you could watch on my blog was marked by gorgeous feathers, and delicate materials. Besides that, as it happens with me, my eye got caught by pastel coloured clutches, and a colourful scarf which in my opinion are a must haves for a perfect summer holiday(with a bit of a tan)!

Louis Vuitton SS14 kolekcija je nesto posebno za mene, jer je to poslednja pod dizajnom Marc Jacobs-a. Veoma ekstravagantna kolekcija, koja je oznacena bogatim perjem i vrhunskim materijalima. Osim toga, s obzirom da ja obozavam SVE u pastelinim bojama, najduze sam se motala oko ovih pismo torbi u raznim letnjim bojama, koje bi mi super dosle na godisnjem odmoru(kada malo nabacim boju)!

At Michael Kors SS14 press day

As you might remember, Michael Kors SS14 show was one of my favourites of the whole NYFW. Since I spoke about it in detail HERE, I wont chat too much, but just wanted to add that I was very impressed with prints in MICHAEL Michael Kors collection as well as by sunglasses, which I particularly liked. Bags were also a big favourite, as Michael Kors has an it bag every season.

Mozda se secate Michael Kors SS14 revije za koju sam rekla da mi je jedna od omiljenih koje sam gedala na NYFW. Posto sam o njoj pricala u detalje u OVOM postu, necu previse odugovlaciti, ali zelim da napomenem da me je odusevila takodje njegova MICHAEL Michael Kors kolekcija koja je namenjena mladjoj populaciji, kao i modeli suncanih naocara koji su mi se jako dopali. S obzirom da Michael Kors izbaci svake godine novu IT torbu, ni one me nisu ostavile ravnodusnom.

At KCD SS14 press day most of my time has gone on admiring Alexander Wang, Fausto Puglisi, Chloe, Proenza Schouler, Tory Burch, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Balmain collections. Everything was 10/10 at the KCD house, which isnt a surprise, I am sure you can agree seeing the photos below. What is your favourite piece? This is a selection of my favourite bits and bobs.

Na KCD SS14 eventu za novinare najveci deo mog vremena je otisao na divljenje Alexander Wang, Fausto Puglisi, Chloe, Proenza Schouler, Tory Burch, 3.1 Phillip Lim i Balmain kolekcijama. Sve je bilo 10/10 u KCD kuci, sto nije iznenadjenje. Sigurna sam da cete se sloziti kada vidite slike ispot. Koji je vas omiljeni komad? Ovo su neke od stvari koje su se meni jako dopale

At Purple PR SS14 press day I loved seeing DKNY collection from up close, since last time I saw it was at the NYFW. The backpack from the photo below is something I can see many models wearing between the shows, and backpacks are really coming back as a big fashion trend for this summer. Purple PR predstavljaju DKNY, a tamo sam imala sansu da pogledam DKNY kolekciju izbliza. Ovaj ranac sam dobro zapamtila jos u septembru, jer mislim da je nesto sto ce modeli nositi izmedju revija, pogotovo zato sto se rancevi vracaju na velika vrata. Moje misljenje o celoj kolekciji mozete procitati u OVOM postu.

Karl Lagerfeld never fails to surprise us, even though he pretty much only uses black and white. These fingerless gloves are so fabulous, and ideal for using your touch screen phone on the go. Warm hands but free fingers, in a fashionable way? Perfection!

Karl Lagerfeld naravno nikad ne posustaje da me iznenadi, iako koristi iskljucivo crnu i belu boju. Ove rukavice su odlicne, jer osim sto su prelepe, takodje sa njima necete imati probleme pri koristenju mobilnog telefona! Savrsenstvo!

At RMO SS14 press day

Rebecca Minkoff always impresses me with amazing hand candy! Mint and red bags, are every girl’s dream, and the whole RM SS14 review can be found HERE, from the NYFW show I attended in September.

Rebecca Minkoff me uvek odusevi svojim torbama. Mint i crvene torbe su kao san, a celu RM SS14 reviju i moje misljenje o njoj sa NYFW mozete procitati OVDE.

At Reiss SS14 press day

Where do I start? Reiss had me speechless for many obvious reasons. Shapes, prints and colours in the collection have that amazing luxury classic feel, and a little bit of that independent smart girl touch, if you know what I mean. Greens, pastels and a range of whites had me most excited in this collection. The black feather skirt which you can see below is my absolute favourite, and an item I cant wait to put my hands on!

Gde da pocnem? Reiss me ostavio bez teksta zbog ociglednih razloga. Krojevi, printovi i boje ove kolekcije ostavljaju utisak dizajna visokog kvaliteta, a cela kolekcija izgleda kao da je pravljena za nezavisnu, pametnu devojku, ako znate na sta mislim. Zelena, pastelne boje i mnostvo bele su obelezile ovu kolekciju. Crna suknja od perja je moja omiljena i jedva cekam da je se docepam!

At Guess SS14 press day

Guess is one of those “go to” brands for casual chic style. My favourite brand when it comes to festival wear, cute tops, and jackets. In their SS14 I could see a lot of colour, prints and these gorgeous denim overalls, which I have to have for the summer. I also went crazy about those “smashed mirror” wedges, how gorgeous are they? Cant imagine anything better for the fashion week :)

Guess je brend koji po mom misljenju pravi najbolju odecu za letnje festivale, opusten sik stil, nakit, jaknice i stvari za opustenije prilike. Njihova SS14 kolekcija je prepuna printova, boja i naravno teksasa. Ove tregerice su mi posebno zapale za oko i moram ih imati za leto. Takodje sam se dugo zadrzala kod platformi koje imaju efekat “razmibjenog ogledala”. Sta mislite o njima? Idealne su a fashion week :)
