Biker Style and a Quick chat with CJG

Today’s post is a little bit different, and not only stylewise. Of course, it’s a little bit more casual, with a biker-chick feel, thanks to my new Chloe Green boots, and almost all black look, but that’s not all. I had an amazing opportunity to ask the talented designer few questions about her own fashion decisions, and she was lovely enough to answer for the readers of The Glam and Glitter. I personally love Chloe’s style, as she always looks effortlessly gorgeous, but in case you want to find out more, keep reading :)

Tamara: How would you describe your own style?

Chloe: I’d say my style is quite minimal with a girlie edge. I like to wear flat boots in the day – like the Frosty black and metallic boots from my new Christmas collection with jeans and a plain tee. As I go to lots of red carpet events party dresses play a big part of my wardrobe too and I love to team them with a killer heel.

Tamara: When it comes to selecting and designing shoes, do you go for styles that you would wear or styles that you think reflect the masses?

Chloe: I try and merge the two things together to create a really desirable collection that I know my customers want as their must-haves for the season, as well as styles that I really love too. It’s really important to me to create product that is true to my own style and that I’m passionate about.

Tamara: What is your favourite pair from the collection?

Chloe: It’s hard for me to say as I love them all! I love the Snowflake nude courts, they go with absolutely everything and the shape creates a really sexy edge. I’m loving the Milkyway knee high biker boots at the moment too as they’re perfect for this cold weather!

Tamara: What inspired your Christmas collection?

Chloe: I wanted to develop a range for the holiday season that would combine day to night heels and essential winter boots that are comfortable and warm. I took inspiration from winter frosts, I think the shimmer fabrics really reflect that too.

Tamara: What is the piece you had in your wardrobe for the longest and you still wear/wouldn’t be able to throw away?

Chloe: I actually love doing a wardrobe clear out. Obviously there are a few pieces I could never throw away! I have a few Chanel jackets that are timeless. I find evening gowns are pieces I just never get rid of. I always have some sort of event where I want to wear something that I feel comfortable in and I know fits!

Danasnji post je malo drugaciji i ne samo zbog ovoga sto sam obukla. Naravno, outfit je malo lezerniji nego obicno, sa bajkerskim karakterom, zahvaljujuci mojim novim Chloe Green cizmama i skoro skroz crnoj kombinaciji, ali to nije sve. Imala sam neverovatnu priliku da se ispricam sa talentovanom diajnerkom i ona je bila toliko divna da odgovori na neka pitanja za The Glam and Glitter citatelje. Tamara: Kako bi opisala svoj licni stil?

Chloe: Moj stil je prilicno minimalisticki, ali sa girly notom. Obozavam da nosim ravne cizme za dan, kao Frosty crno-metalik cizme iz moje Bozicne kolekcije sa farmericama i obicnom majicom. S obzirom da idem na mnogo dogadjaja koji podrazumevaju crveni tepih, takodje sam neretko u svecanim haljinama, koje najcesce nosim sa jako visokim stiklama.

Tamara: Kada je rec o dizajniranju obuce, da li dizajniras modele koje bi i sama kupila, ili one koje mislis da ce se dopasti drugima?

Chloe: Trudim se da spojim i jedno i drugo te da kreiram kolekciju koja ce biti pozeljna mojim kupcima, koja ce biti prepuna stilova koji su u trendu za tu sezonu, ali i one koje bih sama nosila. Jako mi je bitno da ostanem dosledna sebi i onome sto vilim.

Tamara: Koji je tvoj omiljeni par cipela iz kolekcije?

Chloe: Jako mi je tesko da se odlucim, jer ih volim sve! Snowflake stikle idu uz mnogo toga a imaju tu neku sexy notu. Takodje cesto nosim Milkyway visoke vizme, jer idu uz sve i odlicne su za hladno vreme!

Tamara: Sta te inspirisalo za Bozicnu kolekciju?

Chloe: Htela sam da dizajniram idealnu obucu za praznike, ali ne samo svecanu, vec i onu koju mozete nositi po danu i po hladnom vremenu. Mraz me je inspirisao za ovo, sto se vidi po sjajnim materijalima koji su korisceni.

Tamara: Koji komad odece najduze imas i sta je to cega nikada ne bi mogla da se resis?

Chloe: Jako volim da ispraznim orman s vremena na vreme. Naravno imam par komada koje nikada ne bih bacila, kao Chanel jakne za koje mislim da su vecne. Vecernje haljine su takodje nesto sto cuvam, zato sto kada mi jedna zatreba za poseban dogadjaj, moram da imam nesto u cemu znam da se osecam i izgledam odlicno!
