I keep hearing a lot of bloggers talk about mixing unmixable, and matching things that dont normally go together. Since there are no rules any more I think this defies the whole no rule “rule”, and I rather call it balancing. I know my thoughts are super confusing to you guys (I tend to do that when I over think stuff, sometimes confusing myself too), but just bare with me. I think the key of a good outfit is balancing the things you wear. Of course, its all down to personal style, but If I wear something tight on the bottom, I like to wear a loose top, if my top is too elegant for the day I balance it out with a casual pair of jeans, and so on… I think you see what I mean, and the best example is this look. This leather skirt from with a twist from Glassworks can be worn for a classy occasions, but in order to wear it for a nice lunch with some other fashion bloggers, I wore it with this Isabel Marant sweater and added a bit more balance to it, of course the oversized Wallis coat was a must, and the pop of blue cherry on the top :)
U poslednje vreme cesto naidjem na termin spajanje nespojivog, sto zapravo znaci oblacenje stvari koje obicno ne bi isle zajedno. S obzirom da pravila vise ne postoje kao sto su nekada bila, mislim da ovo totalno gubi smisao i ja ceo taj trend zovem balansiranje. Znam da su mi misli rasute u ovom postu i da vas mozda zbunjuje ovo sto pisem (ovo radim uglavnom kada mnogo razmisljam o necemu i neretko i samu sebe zbunim), ali strpite se sekund. Zapravo ono sto zelim reci je da je kljuc dobrog outfita balansiranje odece koju nosite. Naravno sve je do licnog stila i ukusa, ali ako ja nosim uske pantalone, obavezno nosim malo siru bluzu, ili ako mi je kosulja elegantna, kombinaciju izbalansiram opustenijim farmericama….i tako dalje. Mislim da sada vec shvatate sta sam htela reci i ova kombinacija je najbolji primer. Ovu koznu suknju neobicnog kroja sa Glassworks sajta sam uparila sa Isabel Marant duksom, velikim Wallis kaputom i zacinila sa malo plave boje kao visnja na slag. Ovo mi je bila idealna kombinacija za rucak sa drugim modnim blogerima :)
