New York Home

During the fashion week New York turns into this huge party place, where every restaurant is full, every taxi busy and sometimes you just feel like you dont want to miss out on any of this, but you still want to be comfortable and able to rest eventually, at least to catch 4-5 hours of sleep at night.
I stayed at The Standard hotel during this week, and it proved to be the best option, as the hotel is in the centre of all the events. Parties, fashion shows, and the amazing bar on the 18th floor which gives you a gorgeous view of the city. Meatpacking district is very urban, modern, and different from the rest of the city. While taking these photos in casual outfit before shopping, I sat down with Jess to have a pizza, when Olivia Palermo casually strolled in for a lunch(probably not pizza for her haha), and we couldn’t believe how huge, yet small New York is! Besides having a gorgeous view, my room in The Standard also gave me the best sleep ever after those tiring nights, amazing food, whenever I actually had time to eat, and great socialising. You know I am a fussy eater, yet their room service ticked all the boxes, and those pancakes, muesli, omelettes… you saw on my social media were even tastier that they look! Yum. There is this crazy energy about the hotel which I find unique, certain atmosphere and of course the people to hang around with. I miss it already, and even though there are more posts coming from New York I can easily say I cant wait to be back at this place, as The Standard is my new New York home, and I wouldn’t change it for anything :)

Za vreme nedelje mode Njujork se pretvara u jednu veliku zurku, gde je svaki restoran prepun, svaki taxi zauzet, a ponekad se osecam kao da ne zelim da propustim nijedan delic ovog ludila, ali ipak moram i da odmorim s vremena na vreme i makar uhvatim 4-5 sati sna uvece. Odsela sam u The Standard hotelu za vreme ove nedelje i to je bila najbolja odluka, jer je hotel u centru svih zbivanja. Zurke, modne revije i bar na 18. spratu iz kog je pogled neverovatan. Meatpacking district je veoma urban deo grada, totalno drugaciji od ostatka ostrva. Ovaj outfit bio je namenjen opustenom shoppingu i relaksaciji i pre nego sam se slikala sela sam sa Jess na pizzu, kada je Olivia Palermo usetala na rucak (verovatno ne na pizzu haha)  a mi nismo mogle verovati kako je zapravo mali Njujork! Osim sto ima sjajan pogled, moja soba u The Standard-u ima i najudobniji krevet ikada sto je posle 10 sati u stiklama neophodno, sjajnu hranu kada uhvatim trenutak da jedem i naravno odlicnu ekipu u hotelu. Znate da sam prilicno izbirljiva sto se hrane tice, ali njihov room servis je stvarno ispunio sva moja ocekivanja i one palacinke, musle i omleti… su bilo jos ukusniji nego sto su izgledali! Mljac. Ceo hotel je pun te neke energije i atmosfere koja je prilicno unikatna i sve je naravno magicno kada ste okruzeni ljudima koji vas inspirisu. Vec mi sve to nedostaje i iako imam jos 2 posta iz Njujorka za vas, mogu slobodno da kazem da jedva cekam da se vratim u ovaj grad i da je The Standard moj novi dom u Njujorku i ne bih ga ni za sta menjala :)
