The first day of Mercedes Benz Fashion week in New York was fabulous. Just being in this city that never sleeps, surrounded by world’s top fashionistas makes me so happy, and the fashion shows I saw today really inspired me a lot. I can tell you that SS14 will be full of gorgeous trends that fit perfectly with my personal style. I have seen Nicholas K, BCBG Max Azria, Tadashi Shoji, Desigual and The Art Institute Of New York City fashion shows and will go into details to show you what each was about. When it comes to my outfit, I wore trends that are expected to be seen this Autumn. They say the powder pink is the new black, and that midi skirt is an absolute must have. What do you guys think?
Prvi dan Mercedes Benz Fashion Week-u Njujorku je bio izvanredan. Sama cinjenica sto sam u ovom gradu koji nikada ne spava, okruzena najpoznatijim svetskim ljubiteljima mode me cini veoma srecnom, i inspirisanom revijama koje sam posetila. Mogu vam reci da ce SS14 biti prepuna trendova koje se odlicno uklapaju u moj licni stil. Gledala sam Nicholas K, BCBG Max Azria, Tadashi Shoji, Desigual, The Art Institute of New York revije i o njima vise mozete procitati ispod. Kada je rec o mom outfitu, drzala sam se trendova za ovu jesen. Kazu da je svetlo roza nova crna a da je ova srednja duzina suknje neophodna za novu sezonu. Sta vi mislite o tome?
BCBG show was full of prints, beautiful cut outs, and floaty silhouettes. I could easily say that every single piece was something I would wear as prints and bold shapes are what I am about. SS14 for BCBG Max Azria is in my eyes perfect for an IT girl, who loves life and and great quality. Love it!
BCBG show je bio prepun printova, prelepih isecaka i leprsavih modela. Slobodno mogu reci da mi se dopao sve i jedan komad sa modne piste i to je nesto sto bih licno nosila, jer su printovi i interesantni krojevi bas ono sto ja volim. SS14 za BCBG Max Azriu je savrsena kolekcija za IT devojku koja voli zivot i kvalitet. Meni se jako dopada!

Tadashi Shoji creations are worn by many celebrities and socialites, and his SS14 was very feminine, classy and mainly full of summery pastel colours. Dresses which bring out the beauty of female body without showing off too much, perfect for important events in your life. The designer is also known for making dresses which can make your business look as stylish as ever.
Kreacije dizajnera Tadashi Shoji cesto mozete videti na poznatim licnostima i ljubiteljima mode. Njegova SS14 kolekcija je veoma elegantna, zenstvena i u pastelnim bojama. Haljine koje isticu prelepu zensku figuru bez da otkrivaju previse, savrsene su sa specijalne prilike. Dizajner je takodje poznat po tome sto unosi glamur u poslovnu odecu i smatra da zene i na radnim mestima treba da izgledaju fenomenalno.

Nicholas K collection was very recognisable for the talented duo. Focus on draping and proportion was very noticeable, as well as the influence of Apache reservation where the designer team grew up. Unlike most of other SS14, Nicholas K stuck with earthy tones, kaki, grey and a lot of whites. If you like casual layering, this is a perfect collection for you!
Nicholas K kolekcija je bila veoma prepoznatljiva za ovaj kreativni duo. Koncentrisana na proporcije i visak materijala, kolekcija je bila ocigledno inspirisana Apace rezervatom pored kojeg je dizajnerski tim odrastao. Za razliku od ostalih SS14 kolekcija Nicholas K je bila ispunjena zemljanim tonovima, sivom, maslinastom i belom bojom. Ako volite casual odecu kao i slojevito oblacenje, ovo je kolekcija za vas!
