Season to Love

Holiday season was always a big deal in my family. It represents a time of unity and it was something special to every single member of my household. Every year this feeling of that special time with my family grows bigger and bigger. My absolute favourite part of the holiday season is getting that chance to spend with my family, from the little things to baking cookies together, decorating our home to opening our presents on Christmas morning. I realised I get most excited about the holiday season because it’s the most affectionate, happy and loving time of the year. I was raised to believe that nothing comes close to spending time with your loved ones, that is why the holiday season is so special to me. We have many traditions that spontaneously developed out of nowhere and they are the most precious things I hold onto while living abroad. My mother always makes gingerbread cookies and then we decorate them together. Imagine the whole house being filled with the smell of cinnamon, while Christmas songs are playing, mulled vine cooking and Christmas tree shining in the colours we chose for that season. Ah, let me not forget the tree, I made this rule that no one is allowed to decorate the tree until we are all at home. We then finish it off with t

Pastel Pink in Winter

Paris. I think I visited the capital of France more than 10 times this year, but you couldn't blame me considering its the capital of fashion too. This is a city I could never get bored of, and even though Samuel Johnson said that "When a man is tired of London he is tired of life" I feel its also true for Paris. This beautiful city keeps giving, its gives its beauty, art, opportunities and all of it only if you are willing to admire it and look at it through the pink sunglasses. Something like every woman. As long as you love and adore it, as long as you idealise and believe in it, it will keep giving you itself until ints maximum. One of those numerous times I visited Paris this year was for a shoot with Monnier Freres. An online luxury boutique which stocks some of my favourite brands. Think likes of Valentino, Chloe, Stella McCartney. Think Versace and Aquazzura. Basically all I love and more. I then chose some of my favourite pieces and together with them created a which list we decided to call Monnier Freres Christmas Windows.

Modern Muse Nuit

I've always been a girl's girl, someone who loves having girlfriends, always has their back and would do anything for them. I guess the description is a little bit longer, it means I am as excited for my friends' success as I am for my own and would be angry at any guy who breaks my friends' heart. Us girls we need to stick together as even though we often act strong, we are really pretty incredible human being, and for that reason men often find inspiration and mystery in us. From Rembrandt and Goya to Bonnard and Picasso, male artists have always found that women in their lives were the biggest muses for their creation. The topic of todays story is indeed a woman, but not just any woman, its a Modern Muse, the one

Party In Style

Its December which means so many things for me. First let’s start with the fact that you can officially start getting excited about Christmas presents, or if you are like me, you can get excited about buying them and surprising your loved ones with stuff they don't expect. December is also that time when our schedules are booming. As I am writing this I have already 3 Christmas dinners behind me, 2 official festive parties, and several to come through out December.

Party Look

Its officially Party season and even though I am not someone known for their extensive night life, I must say that I have more dinners, events and parties to attend than I accounted for. I tried to put it all down on a piece of paper as I was RSVP-ing to these fabulous events. I think I need 14 dresses all together in December, then different hair and makeup looks, because my friends and I always like to surprise each other with different looks. Even though I am not a party girl I must admit that party season excites me. All the wonderful people, the atmosphere, great food and drinks plus an excellent excuse to dress up, and look fabulous. I so far have lined up several dresses and picked carefully the best of the best for you to chose from. This season I have also partnered with Rimmel to bring a perfect inexpensive party look to you guys. As you probably know my signature look is a smokey eye with a nude lip, so I wanted to stay true to myself. Base of every good makeup should be a good foundation (no pun intended). Something that lasts long and looks healthy on your skin at the same time. I heard a lot of people rave about the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation so de
