Im making a small digression with this post for several reasons. I have only couple of posts to show you from rest of the fashion month and for some reason really wanted to jump in the schedule with this post. Could this be my favourite time of the year? I don’t know, but every season has its magic right? The leaves, hot drinks, warm cashmere blankets, movie nights, cinnamon candles, and all the fashion. You know, fashion, that thing I really like.View Post
One of the most exciting shows for me to attend in Milan is Fendi. I have loved the brand for the longest time, and as you probably noticed, I started really enjoying many of their pieces in the past years. The bags, shoes, boots, sunglasses, beautiful coats and dresses. The list is never ending. All those amazing ideas that Karl and Silvia come up with are so inspiring and I found that Fendi quickly became one of my all time favourite brands. I was really excited for their show in Milan and in this post you can see a preview of that day.
Milano treated us with most gorgeous weather, pretty much ice cream worthy and I was lucky enough to spend it with one of my best friends Noor who has a blog called Queen of Jet Lags. You have all seen her here before. We went to the shows, ate ice cream, walked around Brera and spoke about boys. You know the standard stuff that any girl in her 20s likes to do in Italy. In the end we got treated by the beautiful golden light which we used for these photos.View Post
I have always been a child of sun, and as much as I love sleeping long, I love waking up early, before everyone else to admire the empty city. This was the plan for Milan. Admiring Duomo before anyone’s gets a chance to do so makes me feel like I have it all for myself. Its specially beautiful at this time of the year because sun is still shy in the morning and gives themes beautiful autumn colours, think rusty orange mixed with peach. The moment you get to see it waking up at 6am makes sense.
Sometimes we underestimate how good the “great mood” can look on our faces, probably better than any cream, lip gloss or foundation. I woke up feeling really happy, energised and fresh on Monday morning of London Fashion week. The schedule looked busy but I was excited to embrace it, and headed to the four shows that morning.
I realised that even the crazy madness of traffic, running in heels and fighting for a cab still didn’t annoy me because I felt good. I managed to get everywhere on time, and after seeing Antonio Berardi, Roksanda and Erdem’s collections I decided it was time for an outfit shoot. I wasn’t sure if it was the pink colour, the energy of people around me that was lifting me or something else, but I realised I was enjoying this moment more then ever.View Post
Its ok. Summer is over, but there are so many reasons to love the seasons that are coming and I can count about a thousand. Maybe I should leave that to another post. What do you guys think of that idea? I have slowly now removed all the kaftans from my wardrobe, even though I told my mum that wardrobe for me isn’t a seasonal thing since I am known to be a sun chaser in the winter, but I still got really excited for trench coats, jackets, parkas and cosy, cosy knits.
How many cashmere sweaters does one person need? A question that will remain unanswered until the day I stop buying them. Its never enough, they are so soft and beautiful, but thats not the topic of todays post. I wanted to tell you more about the continuation of my fashion month. London is always same temperature during the fashion month, maybe its a tad colder in February but its pretty much always that standard not cold not warm temperature. And from todays outfit you will know exactly what I mView Post
I already mentioned how comfortable and “at home” I feel in London, and there is a good reason for that. London is the city where you can be anything you want or anyone you want. Its the city with no limits and city that allows you to express who you truly are.
I love London because that is where I learned the most about myself and I really figured out my personal style. London Fashion Week started with a bang and it was a good one.So much inspiration on the streets, so much freedom, outfits that were comfortable, sometimes slightly crazy but really its a city where you can dress how you feel, and thats why LFW doesn’t feel like a chore to me. I guess there is something beautiful about all four major cities that host fashion week, but I will be slightly biased and tell you that London holds a special place in my heart.View Post
Are you ready for a slightly different post than usual? As soon as the New York fashion week was over, i packed my bags, caught the overnight flight and landed straight into the city where I feel most comfortable – London. There was no time to rest, attend numerous spa treatments and reenergise, but the adrenaline kept me going. Straight from the 8 hour flight I went into a quick shower and a photo shoot which I am about to present you now.View Post
The lights, the music, cameras clicking. Outfits, pouts, this seasons handbags. Its all part of attending a fashion show. There is the excitement before, as we are all anticipating what designers will present us with, but then there is the real show after, the one happening on the streets. NY is usually very exciting for me as that the first week of the crazy month in which I catch up withy friends from all around the world.
The photos you can see in todays post are taken after Tory Burch show, and I realised that I am almost twinning with one of my best blogger friends Leonie who writes blog OhhCouture. We both wore the gorgeous Gemini Lock bags and Gucci Princetown slippers, but I will talk to you about that later. We caught up, spoke about the scView Post
So fashion week clearly isn’t being as chilled as I wanted it to be. I was hoping to post so much content and to be showing you different outfits all the time, but somehow it all got lost. Is it because I didn’t have internet in my last hotel, is it because I am busier than ever this season or maybe because there are so many new platforms to take on (are you following my instastories??) Doesn’t matter why, but I am here now. In fact half a month is over already so I am going to try and be very good next few days and post a lot so you can catch up with my outfits.
This has been so far the best fashion month for me.I organised everything on time, I received invites for my favourite shows and I feel very Zen. I haven’t properly slept or eaten in days but some energy is driving me. Maybe its he passion, not sure. Either way todays look was very dear to me as its the one I wore to Victoria Beckham show, and that is a reason enough to have a fabulous day in New York, don’t you agree?View Post
The heath of the big city. Not just the actual meteorological heath, but the one forcing you to keep moving, heading from show to show, moving faster than you thought you physically can. What does the day consist of, let me think? Choosing the right outfit, putting on makeup, social media updates, checking the schedule – few times. Then apply all the last minute schedule changes, being stuck in traffic, and 10-15 minute decision making process because you can’t decide between the shoes and boots, and then you make such a mess in your room that there is no time for breakfast, but you have to head out to the shows.
Doesn’t sound very appealing, yet I do all of this with so much passion, that I did it the same way when I made no money from it, and still when I can say that this is my job. But thats another story and I will leave it for another time.
Second day of fashion week went really well, considering that I felt like a Disney princess in this colourful dress. Even waiting 20minutes for an Uber wasn’t such a bad thing,View Post
