The Satin Dream

Last time my mum visited we tried to clear out my wardrobe. We really wanted to make it season appropriate and soon realised that I always need to have both summer and winter clothes on hand. That is what living in England means I guess. After 9 years of living here, I finally realised that the good old stereotype "It always rains in England" isn't true. The weather however is the most unpredictable thing, which is why its often most common topic of small talk. Todays post is a typical example. We had the most gorgeous sunset down here by the seaside and I simply had to capture it. Imagine beautiful summer haze but in November, pretty hard, right? Oh well, I must say that living here has so many perks, and its something that I wouldn't change for anything else. I am happy to be able to use so many different pieces from my wardrobe whole year long.

Givenchy Antigona and Over The Knee Boots

You can blame it on my irrational shopping activities that went on in the last few days, but oh am I excited about this time of the year. I mean, I might have totally gone crazy in the shoe, over the knee boot and coat department but hey those are the things I will be relying on a lot in the next few months. I can't be going out without shoes right? So I think its totally justified. If you are my accountant and you are reading this, you should know that girls with no shoes are not socially acceptable in England. Either way back to my excitement. I now can say that I colour coordinated every single knit in my wardrobe, even though they are literally 50 shades of...well you know pastel and grey. I simply turned into one of those people who are loving autumn, everything about it and is excited to layer the clothes. Yay!

Power Of Plants

Back in 1480s Sandro Botticelli expressed his admiration for femininity in the famous master piece also known as, Birth of Venus. I saw it in real life a few years ago in Florence and it left a strong impression. The painting itself contained a powerful message, and the beauty of Venus was adorned with flowers that were thrown at her. Flowers - symbol of love, daintiness, beauty and trust. Flowers play an important role in my life, as I am not only interested in their beauty, but also in their efficacy – an interest that started in my fourth year of university when I decided to take on an extra module in ‘Power of Plants’.

Autumn Whites

How can nature be so incredibly stunning at this time of the year. Red leaves and autumn light leave me absolutely speechless season in and out. Even though the coldness totally stepped up its game, and my face pretty much froze yesterday on the way to the gym I can’t not love this beautiful season also known as autumn or fall in case you live in the States. I want to take so many photos for the blog before all of this is gone, specially since I know it will be 5minutes before winter is here. You know what I mean, right? Time is relative!

How I Changed My Life | Monday Confessions

I am sitting above the keyboard of my computer for probably around three hours now. There is a lot I want to say but I am not quite sure what the real topic of this post will be. Something personal, my current thoughts and stuff that I felt like I really wanted to share with you right now. A lot of stuff has happened to me in the past 2-3 months. Good and bad, all with a valid reason and somehow I managed to learn a lot. I managed to get some of the best lessons in life in a short period of time, just by analysing situations, people and my life in general. If you follow my YouTube account you probably know that I touched on this topic yesterday in my video (its embedded for you to watch below). I wanted to talk more about it , since it seemed that many of you were really intrigued and interested to hear more. Not sure what to say, maybe watch the video first? Or maybe later...There is no rule I guess. The title of this post is very obvious, I changed my life for the better and even though it was a development that probably took around 3-5 years all together, I finally figured it out
